I thought they were great! I left with my order, it took them about 10 to 15 minutes to make my wings and waffle fries which cost me around $12 it came with the soda as well that was the meal six wings. I also ordered my daughter the chicken tenders with the waffle fries and drink as well that was around nine dollars and change. It was open all good it’s a wing shop but it was very clean and the customer service was great! No complaints here only reason they didn’t get five stars was because I prefer my waffle fries to be a little toasty and they were more on the soft soggy side but the flavor was amazing so I overlooked that part easily.
On July 20, 2022. I ordered the Honey Hot and Sweet Korean Fire bone in wings, along came with waffle fries. Unfortunately, the waffle fries were seriously. Overcooked and the wings had barely and sauce on them and I mean barely. Even though we had the meal delivered like usual. This was a terrible first. While my family were truly disappointed in the way the food was prepared. We all were so sad to have this issue. Due to being a humble customer at your establishment for some time now. My order was placed at 8:01 pm and check # was 75.
I'm not even sure why I placed an order that I actually I wanted. They just give you anything they want. Ordered 30 wings, and got three 2oz sauces. I ordered 6. Asked for all the wings extra crispy, I said to the guy, "please make sure they are crispy" I'm not even sure if they were cooked...fatty as hell. Me and the two other guys didn't finish our meals. This isn't the first time either..
Ordered ths 6 piece tender meal for lunch on a Saturday. 15- 20 min wait time. Was about $16.xx per meal Ordered 2. Food was ready in time. Food was good as expected. Fried chicken wise, their quality is better and juicier. Ordered the hot garlic and garlic parm for sauces. Ths garlic parm os a dry rub. Thought I would not like it due to the dryness. But it was good. Just wish it was more saucy then dry rub.
Never has a mistake in my order gone so right! Somehow I accidentally selected kicking bbq instead of my usual Cajun bbq... it does not disappoint. Close reminder to Zaxbys. Yum! Edit: While all of the flavors offered are equally excellent, they do, however, all have different levels of heat. So while your order may be spicier than you like, you will not get a "bad" flavor of wings here.
Overall awesome place had the boneless wingssold by weight not by piece , made fresh not frozen, the DC 10 has a good amount of pieces, fries and a can of soda. $15 bucks was reasonable, food was good - now the wait is 15 minutes, it looks like they do good volume, so theres a reason why people who complain about delivery - i saw the driver with a ton of orders, I recommend skipping delivery and calling ahead and picking up. Ordered Kickin Buffalo wings meal. They were not good at all!!!! They tasted like chicken wings dipped in ketchup. The chicken wasn’t fried thoroughly. Just a nasty soggy mess. I only had 6 waffle fries not even a full order. This use to be my favorite wing spot. It’s just not the same anymore and I have tried at least 2 other times. Just not good
We used to be frequent customers of Wings over Storrs and and never had any complaints. We have ordered from this location 3 times now. The first, our chicken was massively under-seasoned. The second and third time, we were given incorrect orders with several missing items, despite the receipt being correct. I have never been repeatedly disappointed like this at any other establishment. The food tastes fine though if you manage to receive what you ordered
My wings were cooked perfectly but not sauced well at all! The chicken costs too much to not get sauced wings that you paid for. Looked like fried wings. My flavors were supposed to be honey mustard, chili and garlic Parmesan. SMH
The wings were good done just right very flavorful not too many choices when it comes to sides or flavors just chicken and fries is all I seen on the menu, maybe it was because of covid-19? The staff was friendly there was great communication at the place looked clean, a small store front right off the main road passing through West Hartford I brought my brother and my cousin with me they ordered the chicken tenders which they told me they enjoyed I ordered the hot buffalo wings and the seven pepper wings they were pretty good nice and crispy flavorful juicy but the price was a little and I mean very little overpriced compared to other places nearby but I believe their wings were larger than what you'll get from your typical local Pizza shop or Chinese restaurant on average they seem to be of the extra large variety that you will find at a smokehouse or wing shop which this was a wing shop so it made sense. OVERALL IT WAS WORTH IT AND I SHALL RETURN WITH ANOTHER REVIEW AS I TRY OTHER FLAVORS!
