Decided to try out Wing Boss because it was cheaper for 16 wings than it is other places for 12. You get what you pay for. Wings were very rubbery and dry. I ordered half buffalo and half Cajun dry rub. Half were buffalo, and the other half looked like someone lazily squirted some buffalo on them. No Cajun rub. I'll be spending more somewhere else next time, even if it means less wings. As a Kitchen Manager that sells a ton of wings, I'd be embarrassed if this was the product we put out
I ordered 16 wings and received 6 on DoorDash. Ridiculous! And payed the full price for 6 totally burnt wings. The customer service in this place was also very bad! Being rude and unapologetic. This needs to be shut down ASAP. This is not how you treat your customers. Never come to this place!!!!
This place was very bizarre. I ordered online delivery, and when it arrived it was in a different restaurants bag and boxes but it had the receipt and was approximately the right order but done insanely poorly. Some of the stuff I paid extra for didn't come and none of it was the way it was advertised or expected. The French fries were literally not cooked all the way, they were all floppy. The seasoning was good but something about eating floppy potatoes that are half cooked was just not right. The chicken had no sauce on it which in itself is unexpected but not a deal breaker, but the nuggets were very different sizes and had pieces of tendon in them. Not to mention that they straight up gave us a bunch of sour cream instead of ranch? The sauce they did give was very mediocre and was half way filled for some reason? All in all this was by far the most bizarre food delivery i have had by a mile and in a disappointing way. .. is this a legit restaurant.? Not to mention that I paid $30 for all wrong things and that was very disappointing. Aside from the disappointment, I find it very comical how bad they did with the order.
ordered via door dash. 40 minute quote quickly turned into over an hour for delivery. Food arrived cold. Fries were soaked in oil, yet not cooked all the way. 10 piece traditional wings were old and dried out. only 1 drum, the other 9 were skimpy flats. Mac and cheese and dipping sauces were completely missing from the order too.
Not an overwhelming positive chicken wings experience. It was just ok. For example, the wings aren’t tossed in the sauce as is the norm, meat wasn’t of very good quality tough and with broken bones, the online ordering tracking system doesn’t work, and the sauces we ordered were only half correct. After reading other reviews with similar issues, it seems this is just how it is, so I’ll look elsewhere for wings.
Having lunch from here is such a nice change from the same old boring sandwich. My favorite is a 6-wing garlic parmesan combo with FREE! Cajun fries. Fills me up, super yummy and reasonably priced. My new favorite.
12/30/2021 Let me start with the wings were very good. I ordered the 100 wing pack, no rub or sauce. That is the only reason for the second star. I ordered the fries well done and they were not even cooked completely. I had to cook them in the oven which delayed our dinner. The veggies were not included, the staff at Dickey's in Jenison stated they were sorry but they forgot to order them. She did put in an extra order of fries barely cooked though. I could not order online as their internet was not working. I called for assistance to the Wing Boss line and Christina was very helpful in placing my order. We supplied our own veggies. The staff at Dickey's restaurant could not assist in any questions about Wing Boss, stating that was a ghost kitchen and they knew nothing about it. I would not recommend them. If you don't have the address you would never be able to find Wing Boss. It was confusing.
I ordered wing boss and it was amazing. We got half lemon pepper and half sweet bbq. I normally like my wings saucy but I was surprised how good the lemon pepper seasoning was. Not sure which was my favorite. I'll have to try them again and do more research.
I tried wing boss for the first time and have to say they are some of the best I’ve had. Lots of meat in the boneless wings not just breading. Sauces were good too, we had the sweet bbq and Parmesan garlic and both were excellent!
What an absolute joke. This is a "ghost kitchen" inside Dickey's Barbecue. I placed an order for traditional wings. My wife picked them up and brought them home. They gave us all boneless wings and when I called they said they had run out of traditional. They didn't give any kind of notice that I would not be getting what I ordered. When I called, the manager just kept saying that it's a "ghost kitchen"and there's nothing she could do. She couldn't even offer a refund. I payed for a product I didn't get and the business would do nothing to make this right.
