Wine Maniacs Wine Bar & Bistro

I’ve been here a few times now- and have had a wonderful experience each time I’ve come! They have knowledgeable staff about the wine, and allow you try the wine to dial in which wine you would like a full glass of. They have a great menu of food as well- it was extremely difficult to decide on what to eat! We did the chefs choice charcuterie board which was wonderful and then I got the walnut pasta! Loved it all! The atmosphere is great, service is great, wine is great, and food is great! Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere with fun vibe, vintage movies playing, and an old-world aesthetic. Food is decent and interesting. Doing a good job to provide something different in downtown Ocon, which is appreciated. Overall the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Some cons: On our last visit we were served a wine sample with chunks in it Sometimes we get served immediately, sometimes we sit awkwardly at the bar without acknowledgement former bartender/server here, so I get situational, but also the importance of quick welcome.

Beautiful view to the lake if you seat out. Did a quick stop to grab a drink and snack, chicken wings with Buffalo sauce were on point. It was a good surprise to find my favorite beer Hacker Pschorr. Staff is friendly. 4 adults 4 beers and 12 wings =38 dollars. I will come back

From the food to the wine to the service, 5 stars in every category. District Seven Cab was suggested to pair with the Scampi. The scampi came with perfectly cooked shrimp, red peppers, onion and cherry tomatoes. The noodles were freshly made , homemade from scratch, which I knew with the first bite. Perfect texture and an al dente finish. The pairing of the wine and the fresh food was a delight on a Sunday night that left me excited and wanting to plan the next time I will come back. The service was tops. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Third time here and always impressed with the personable and knowledgeable staff. Jordan has been our server twice and is wonderful. They always offer wine samples and help you find the perfect glass. Food is delicious and fresh as well. Highly recommend!

Love Miranda. The wine experience was great finding what we loved for our dishes. A bit too much butter in the walnut pasta Ragu was amazing. The old world vibe in here was just awesome. So much to look at at every turn with so many amazing choices. Will be back again some day.

Delicious sweet wine posted here! Awesome bartender- Brian- helped us with our wine choices. We came on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate our friends birthday. Had a Charcuterie board and spinach Dip- both very good. Great atmosphere.

Amazing new location right in the heart of downtown Oconomowoc. Lakefront views. Breezing and beautiful renovation of the inside. Jamie and Jeff were so inviting and hospitable. Great wine and food selections. We will be back!!

Tried 3 different appetizers, and a few different entrees. Not to mention a few different wines. Not one thing I tried that thought was less than excellent. Service was exceptional. Great energy all around. Fantastic experience
