Wine Kitz Ottawa Iris

Wine Kitz is hands-down the best wine-making company in town! We had tried wine-making with other companies before going to Wine Kitz for the first time, and none of them came close to comparing with the quality products, the service - the owner and staff are so knowledgeable, experienced and personable - and the ambiance of Wine Kitz Ottawa. We have ordered two different wines so far and are thrilled with both. In fact, we had company from England and only served them our home-made wine and they couldn't stop commenting on how great Canadian wine is! We would highly recommend Wine Kitz to everyone we know!

I've been using this location of Wine Kitz for making wine since 2007 and we've never been disappointed. The staff is always willing to discuss selections and doesn't upsell, rather they have always directed me to wines that meet my stated needs and goals. The one time I had to bring my toddler in while bottling, the staff were very patient and explained the process to her so she felt involved and entertained. Also, the location is very accessible. If you are looking for a place to make wine, I highly recommend Wine Kitz on Iris.

We love both the wine and the experience of making this wine at Wine Kitz Iris. The team always makes us feel welcome and is very helpful in suggesting wines to try next. Too many favorites to list, but the Mystic is popular with friends and family and I recently bottled an Amarone that is shaping up to be my new favorite. Wine kitz has decent wine! The most expensive stuff will run you about $8 per bottle and is very drinkable with some aging. They do most of the labour for you to ferment, decant, and otherwise get it ready for bottling. The bottling process is pretty straightforward, and you can bring your own bottles to save some cash. They have bottles for purchase too. Make your own labels or use the ones that come with the kit!

My wife and I had never made our own wine before so we tried wine kits. We really enjoyed the process and the helpful staff. We also enjoyed the end product. Thanks, Wine kits.

The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Linda goes up and beyond the call to make her customers feel welcome. The Customer Service is outstanding. We would not go anywhere else to make our wine!
