Story

At Musca Wine Pressing and Supplies Ltd., we are proud to be able to service the home winemakers on a wholesale and retail basis for over 40 years. We understand our customer’s growing needs, and this is why we strive to give you an affordable quality of winemaking products. A number of individuals have often asked us how we are able to do this? Well, the answer to this commonly asked question is simple. Musca Wine Ltd. is the direct importer of all of our fresh juices, concentrates, corks, etc. Because of our tremendous buying power we are committed to pass on these savings to our clients.

Carmen and I take a lot of pride in serving our clients with a variety of winemaking products. In September and October we directly import over 25 Grape Varietals under the Pia Label. Our fresh grapes are grown under the watchful eye of Mr. Frank Pantaleo and his staff, ensuring the Pia “House Packed” quality is met every time. Lamanuzzi and Pantaleo is located in Madera, California.

Our goal is to offer nothing but the best quality of Fresh Juices and Concentrates from all over the world. All of our award winning fresh juices are carefully blended and balanced in sugar, acid, and pH by our very own in houseOenologist, in our new state-of-the-art facilities. By having an Oenologist join our team of experts, this allows us to quality control all of our fresh juices and concentrates in order to give our clients nothing but the best quality at an affordable price every time.

We have ordered wine from Musca for all of our family’s events but most recently for my daughter’s baptism. The service and product are exceptional. They even provided a beautiful custom label. Carmela has been nothing short of a pleasure to work with and we are beyond impressed. We highly recommend them!
I recently went for my first bottling with Musca. I don't like doing new things and am always a bit anxious about it. But Noella was incredibly kind and helpful as well as very fun to be with. I felt so comfortable with her guidance and help. She was just delightful. I also appreciated that she didn't say bad things about the company I used to go to it's really uncool for people to do that. She asked me how we did things at the other place, just to gauge what I needed to know differently at Musca, but didn't put them down. Very classy. I was blown away by the level of service and it's hard to impress me, with my 14 years' experience working in customer service. And I loved how clean the shop was. Clean is important, especially when it comes to food and drink. We also got a wee taste of the wine. Even at such a young age, it had so much more body than other wine kits I've had. I'm looking forward to drinking this wine.

I used to make my own wine using their fresh grape juice from California in the fall, and although the wine was always fantastic, I fell out of that hobby. I started going to different places to make wine from concentrate but was generally disappointed, especially with the whites which were too heavily sulfited and left an unpleasant taste. This year I went to Musca to have them make the wine. It is about $15 more than the other places to make it there, but the wine was drinkable immediately will do better with some aging of course and there was no overpowering sulfite taste. Noella's service was remarkable and I was not used to the employee doing so much of the work, but I was ok with it! She was friendly and knowledgeable and although I thought I was pretty knowledgeable, she taught me quite a few things I didn't know before. It was appreciated. I will probably use their services again
We have been coming to muskas for several years. In the beginning we were newbies but since have become experienced wine makers with the advice and guidance of the muskas owners. Some real snafus have been figured out by them and we have lived and learned Thanks much from the Shays.
The nicest, friendliest family run winery in Ottawa. They have the best wines and wine making services around. Their expertise is evident with their recommendations after years of experience serving the community.
My wine was always good, but twenty years ago when I discovered Musca was when I started to really make quality wine. Silvano and Carmen are truly amazing. Their products are top drawer, and the advice expert. Kudos!
Fantastic business. They made the process of starting our wine kit quick and easy. When it was time to bottle they were amazing. I've been to many wine stores and made many batches. Musca is my go to for everything. They know everything about grapes and wine. Carman is wonderful to do business with and takes time with each customer. Highly recommend Musca for all your wine needs!!
By far the best Pinot Grigio kit available. The staff are knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have, the store is easily accessable and they help to load your car. Go once and it will become your only wine making supplies store.
