I had a really terrible, shocking experience at Winds of Change. I wouldn't reccomend this business to anyone. The woman who owns the store is mentally unstable. I had been a loyal customer for years, and then one day when I asked her help in choosing a relaxation cd, she decided to emotionally attack me and ban me from her store, because I had "bad energy" and she didn't like me as a person. Those were her words. It really devastated me, and I really hope she is not hurting other people like that. I would never support her business again.

A varied selection of Wicca books, tarot cards, gemstones and other spiritual or pagan items. Not the cheapest but definitely worth a visit.

I stumbled into this store with my wife while in Courtenay for the first time. I will never step foot in this store again and would caution the community to stay away as well. My wife was inquiring about tea leaf readings as we didn't know what they were and I witnessed her get emotionally, verbally and energetically attacked. The woman working there made rude comments about my wife's appearance and personality based on how her fingernails were kept. It's was aggresive and belittling. From an energy perspective I wouldn't touch anything in the store as there was the darkest vibe I've ever felt in my entire life. We immediately went to another city and saw a healer after our expirience here.
