One of the best place to eat Filipino food in Toronto. Even though we moved outside GTA, we still visit this place to buy for take out esp. their delish lechon. Staff are great too. Will definitely recommend.
Sooooo very delicious had lechon crispy pork, 2 chicken and 2 pork bbq skewers...and the raw lemon marinated fish marlin Soooo good!!!! Definitely be back
Not only is the food amazing here, but they are kind-hearted people too. We showed up 15 minutes before they closed at 9pm, and though they had been open all day and were ready to start shutting down, they took the time to explain to us what the food was, that more food was available, the combo options. We wanted to eat on their patio and they left the light on for us even after they closed the restaurant. I witnessed that they are generous of heart in giving back to the community. Pork and chicken skewers were fantastic and the lechon pork belly was amazingly delicious. The food and service here is truly a gift from heaven. Go and see for yourself.
The pork bbq sticks were dry, the lechon is salty. The grilled bangus is dry and overcooked. The store needs to declutter, there were stuff all over the place. The dining area is not clean.
Roasted pig was okay. Probably a little salty but it was manageable. Desserts were creamy Flan milky. The people behind the counter were super nice and friendly.
Chicken right and pork left BBQ skewers. I really have only had Filipino BBQ from my Tita, or friends. Passed this placevwithva friend so I decided to try. I will chalk it up as a bad night. The pork skewer was extremely dry and tough. The chicken was kind of sour tasting, I'll assume there is lemon juice or zest in the marinade or BBQ sauce, but it was a bit heavy handed. Overall disappointing skewers compared to the ones I get at friends bbqs.
Very very good skewered pork and chicken. The lechon is really flavorful. I love how transparent they are cutting up meat in front of you. They only weight the meat not the bones! Not like most Chinese BBQ they weight the bones with it. Definitely would go back Very friendly Filipino staff.Food: 5/5
I took the ladies out for lunch and dessert and quite enjoyed the chicken BBQ. Well cooked, flavourful sauce, and the rice was cooked perfectly. It was a nice lunch on the patio that had the sights, sounds, and flavours that brought back memories of the Philippines. Thank you for the nostalgia.
Went on recommendation from a friend and that friend is forever in my good books. Was served by a couple of kind, hard-working ladies who carefully packaged up for me a wow-delicious meal: pork, chicken amazing gravy, rice vermicelli, and lentils. My first foray into filipino food—I knew not what I was missing. Key flavours: love and pork. Also fire.
I always buy lechon here. It's one of the best and really taste like Cebu's lechon!! Since we can't wait to go home & eat.. & the smell is so good.. we always ended up eating in the car!! Kuya Wilson & staff are very friendly as well!! They greeted me Happy Birthday last sunday!
