Max’s Corner Bakery

I was in the plaza buying bubble tea and noticed the bakery. There is a big sign stating 6 buns for $7.50 or 6 buns for $5.50 after 5:00 pm. In order to get all buns for $5.50 after 5pm, they have to be the prepackaged ones sitting inside the display case. I asked for plain Pineapple Buns and egg tarts and the lady took them out from the racks behind cashier, they weren't qualified for $5.50 special because they were "reserved" for customers. If I knew ahead of time, I would just grabbed 6 random buns instead.

You won't be disappointed with their cakes! It was my daughter's birthday and my husband ordered this cake for her. It's so good! So fresh and easily one of the softest cakes we've ever had. 100% will order again!

The cake was frozen when I got it. Also, you have to be careful with which buns are part of the deal half dozen deal. They don’t label it so it’s always confusing when you pay.

Fantastic bakery run by a small humble family. They always greet us with a smile and the price cannot be beat! They offer a wide variety of selection and custom cakes too!

My dad ordered a special birthday cake for my sister from them and is was delicious!! It was freshly made and the cake was just super super soft and moist Highly recommend their cakes and buns! Not to mention, the owners are very nice too!

Terrible! Lady inside does not wear mask. The wrapper is not sealed so people can touch the buns with their bare hands. Bought 6 buns and charged me for 8. This place is trash. Wants to rip you off.

The owner is super nice and loves to talk to her customers. Her baked goods are always delicious and fresh. I’ve ordered a cake to serve 100 people and it was amazing - not too sweet and decorated well.

I’ve been here a few times and the owner is always very nice. Good prices and tastes great! Also, if you go near closing time, the buns are very cheap. I definitely will keep coming here!

Friendly owner. Nice lady and speaks some English. Great tasting buns. Lots of options even around 6pm

In my opinion I think they have the best Hong Kong buns in Ontario. I always bring the buns for lunch. Especially the white bread is good to make sandwiches for lunch.
