We naively hired Wills Transfer to move and store our furniture when we were relocating from Hawkesbury to the Thousand Islands. This was a serious mistake. Not only did they increase their estimated moving charges by 22 percent but also increased their storage rates, without prior notice, during our contract term. When we finally moved into our new home, we reluctantly contracted Wills to transfer our stored items out of fear that, had we contracted a more reputable mover, Wills would probably use this opportunity to renege on damage incurred through their handling. The inexperienced and incompetent clowns that they sent to move our furniture was, quite simply, pathetic - no tools to open the storage bins, piling boxes on the road, putting our furniture upside down on the driveway as they organized themselves, etc. Should you consider hiring Wills Transfer for your next move, ensure that you ask for competitive quotes and referrals. They certainly won't get a good referral from us!
