Willow Creek Cafe & Saloon

An older establishment, Willow Creek Cafe keeps true to the rich Montana steak house traditions; big, homemade portions with aging decor. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything that set Willow Creek apart from other area steak houses. At a certain point, they all start to feel like the same place. Willow Creek probably isn't a place we'll return to, since the drive is a bit daunting. But, we definitely would if we lived closer.

First of all I am giving one star only because you can not review without clicking a star. That being said our experience at this restaurant was by far the worst we have ever had. We had reservations for 8:00 and did not receive our food until 9:15. When we ask the waitress about our food she justified the long wait by saying we were behind a large group. I fail to see how that mattered as everyone had to make a reservation. So they knew exactly how many people were coming in. Finally when the food arrived the steaks were cooked wrong and the potatoes were not cooked at all. We had to sent both back to the kitchen. The waitress was curt and NEVER once offered an apology. This meal for my husband and myself cost 53.50. My advice is find another restaurant.

Arrived without a reservation, and were still offered a nice table near the bison head. Bbq quesadilla, grilled chicken, Swiss cheese mushroom burger, rice, salads, everything exceeded our expectations. Great service and atmosphere!

Best ribs I've ever had, they always do a great job at Willow Creek, especially our waitress Crystal she's awesome !!!!
