I had not been to the Oasis in a long time....its going to be a long time before i go back. I ordered my tenderloin med-rare and it came well under rare. The waitress agreed and took it back. When it was returned it was med-well. For a steak house you HAVE to know how to cook steak. My brother ordered the prime rib and it was like eating a raw boot.
Come on Oasis...you can do better for the old crusty atmosphere and really pricey food!!!

This is supposedly an iconic steakhouse. My prime rib was below average. It was not cooked properly; not juicy in any way; and just a poor tough cut of meat. My brother's filet was way under cooked when it came out. It was taken back and then came out over cooked. The additional items were pathetic. Clearly this steakhouse is depending upon its ancient reputation which is tied to the long gone era its decor and even place settings still cling. I believe the 1970s style plastic glass is an original from the 70s washed 1 million times. Not a recommendation.

Wait time was fairly long, but staff was quite friendly and the ambience rather classic and unique. Veggies served to snack on while waiting for main meal is a nice touch. Steak and crab legs were acceptable, but not the quality I'd expect for the price.

Outstanding food with ultra-large portions & priced reasonably. The service staff is friendly and very accommodating. This place is a must if you're visiting the state of Montana!

A Montana gem! So glad we came, as one gets what they pay for. Waitstaff is like family among themselves...good family, with great work ethics. And they spread the smiles around. Do make reservations...this is a busy place. It makes one want to visit Montana again...
