Specifically told them I needed prescription to get contact lenses and when I took the $85 prescription paper to Costco to buy contacts they said they couldn’t verify the optometrist. Found out he’s an “optician” and cannot give valid prescription to buy contacts. Can’t believe this business is still open at Royal Centre in downtown core after scamming all these people below plus all those who have not bothered to leave a review.

Would not refer friends or family here. Customer service is nonexistent. Spent apx. $400 and owner told me to put the glasses on and walked away. Rubber nose pieces for glasses were never replaced after agreeing on this when I made payment. When I questioned him he said they don't do nose pieces. Glasses came 3 days late as well with no phone call upon arrival.

SCAM ALERT!!! FRAUD!!! No not go to this store. Mr William Yiu-Kwong Chan Optician is a CON MAN. His store is full of the really cheap glasses you can buy online for under $20. He tries to pass them off as high-end designer glasses with a very high price tag. USUALLY 2000% MARK-UP. Many pairs have the ID numbers scratched off to hid the origin. This SCUM BAG took me for $420. I refused to accept the product. The lenses didn't fit the frames and were the wrong size. He said, "I can fix it". He took out a file and tried to grind them down so I would accept them - NO WAY!!! When I looked online, he has multiple complaints about doing the same thing to other people. I confronted him and demanded a refund, he didn't give me any product for my money. He just laughed in my face and said, 'Do whatever you want, I don't care". TOTAL CROOK

Do not go there unless you want to spend very high prices on low quality eye wears. Owner said their inventory always stolen by pedestrians. He want us to share his loss.

Recently purchased a pair of sunglasses there for $185. When I got home, I found the same brand / model online for $20. Buyer beware.

The owner at the first glance a good poor old guy who insists that you should trust him he is the best at what he does, and he has customers from Seattle, etc. Then it turns out to be a scumbag, just a rip-off, and a fraud who selling reading glasses instead of optical glasses, $20 glasses for $400
