I would go with a six star review if possible! This is the best place for dinner in the Sooke area! We stopped in with a large party and they sat us out on the patio area, and they gave us the toddler with us chalk to play with. The food here is amazing, as is the service. Great seating area indoors, but the view out on the deck is spectacular!
This place is an absolute gem! We didn’t have reservations but they were able to fit us in on the gorgeous patio. Our party shared about 5 dishes and 3 desserts between us and we were delighted by everything. The drinks were incredible and the service was fantastic.
What a great little restaurant! The food was amazing. So flavourful, clean, and fresh. The service was outstanding as well. The place is a bit tight, but the food definitely makes you forget how close you are to other tables.Food: 5/5
We made reservations highly recommend this! for a busy long weekend evening and were seated immediately when we arrived. We had a lovely seat inside the quiet room with 3 tables and were seated right by the window with a beautiful ocean view. We ordered the beef tartare, fire roasted pork loin, and prosciutto mushroom pappardelle. Everything was flavourful and delicious with interesting pairings. We were slightly disappointed with the portion of the beef tartare, especially since a friend of ours recently visited and she posted a photo of a larger portion for that dish! We wish the portions could have been more consistent. Service was a bit slow they were having some issues with their card machine but incredibly warm and friendly.
This place was packed for the long weekend so I'd make sure you have a reservation! The food and service were both impeccable! I didn't have a reservation but was looking for a single seat and they were nice enough to serve me by the bar next to the wood fire oven. I had the duck egg pappardelle with the ragu and meatballs and it was delicious and so full flavored. I could taste all the prosciutto and padano and it was everything when combined in a single bite! Delicious food, can't wait to go back for a visit and when their patio opens up back in June!
This restaurant is one of a kind! They serve unique dishes with local fresh ingredients that are simply delicious! Must visit while in Sooke

One of the more compelling reasons I would come back and revisit Sooke. Their dishes are perfection! Everything on their menu is fresh and locally sourced herbs and greens from their garden, too, top that with an excellent and warm team of frontline and kitchen staff who made everyone feel at home, plus this place has a breathtaking view of the water. It was a memorable experience all together, thank you Wild Mountain!
Incredible right from the get-go. We were greeted outside with a smile, seated right away with resos, the service was impeccable, the food was absolutely delicious. Ordered at least 3/4 of the items on the menu and were happy with all. Can’t wait to return! So happy that a local recommended this gem of a spot.
One of THE best gourmet experiences I have ever had. I was visiting Canada in 2019 and we visited Wild Mountain for a celebration of my sister's graduation, and the time we have spent there was definitely worth it : Lovely staff, FANTASTIC food, great wine, beautiful place overall. I would love to come back one day :
