Wings so cheap on Mondays and Wednesday 4.90. We tried the hottest wings and they were good. Service was great, a long queue though and a lot of people so the first order took a about 40mins but the second batch was faster. Very very affordable. Overall, it was a good experience. We enjoyed our time out from the kids.
The wings are truly the hottest In Alberta! I've tried the hottest of the hot all around the world and was pleasantly surprised to find something this legit so close to home. Very cool bar and environment too. Great Management and Staff!
Amazing service, great prices and best of all…….homemade food! I saw that the chicken tenders were in house made and breaded had to have them, delicious! Great menu and friendly atmosphere I’ll be back again and again. Can’t wait to try more things off the menu, go check it out people!
Had a bit of a wait this evening but I expected that as it was wing night..wife was hangry so I apologize to the awesome waitress for her patience. Owner comped us for the wait, he didn't have to as I've worked in the food business and know how it goes, but that gesture was heartfelt and appreciated. When the food came it was hot and delicious, all hanger faded away and it was all smiles! Will definitely be back! Thanks guys!
We've been here a couple times so far and the staff is always very friendly. The food is decent and great prices. This most recent time we went for wings and my husband claims he had "the hottest wings he's ever eaten" Napalm flavor! We'll be back for sure.
I went to an event held there, and the layout was not well set up for this event, and it made the event not so great. Not enough staff for the event, especially bartending one for over 50 people. The food was not the best. I am not sure who decides how many people can attend, but maybe less would have been better for this specific event. Out of 4 things ordered, I liked 1, which was wings, they were great, lots of options for flavours as well as different styles. So my suggestions are prep staff or have more staff, do not host events that don't work for the layout just my opinion as it was a waste of money since some guests couldn't see due to others of where stage and seating was, have waitresses get the water during an event not make people wait over an hour for a glass of water by putting it on the list for the bartender to make. I ended up asking a second waitresses for water and got it within 4 minutes, which was nice, as she went and got them herself. As for actual alcohol drinks my waitress forgot to put in my order twice so i did have to ask for it a total of 3 times, which is slightly understandable on a busy night but if it's busy i suggest utilizing the note pad. Maybe add in the description of food if something is spicy that is why I didn't like some of the items I ordered. They were spicy...yes I have a sensitivity to spices. I did mention to staff that the food wasn't great, and all they said was "oh," then didn't offer any solution. As for why I'm posting a week after the event, it is because I'm a busy pt worker ft student.
Excellent wing night which is Monday and Wednesdays. Wings were large, crisp and available in many flavours. Service was very good too. Regular menu, not so great. Steak sandwich was tough. Smoked brisket, while I appreciate it is brisket, was overly fat and unfriendly. Service was very good but entrée disappointing. Would not do the main menu again.
I’ve never posted a bad review about a restaurant before. This experience, however, was so bad that I feel it necessary. Although we were almost the only people there, it took 45 minutes to get the meals for three out of five in our party, and another 20 to get the other two. Of the first three meals, one was cold. No apologies or explanations were given. When we needed another drink, we had to get up and find the waitress. The owner refused to acknowledge the problem or offer any compensation. All five of us will never go back there again, even though we have been there dozens of times.
I have been going to Wild Card for years on Wednesdays with my friends. So much so the one waitress knows exactly what we drink... Very disappointed in the service this evening. I definitely can understand when it's busy things can take time. However it was not busy when we were there and we waited over an hour for our food. This is unacceptable... When we inquired why she gave us one excuse after another, and than blamed it on the fact that there was only two girls in the kitchen. Only to find out in the end she forgot to put our order in, no apology no concessions, just oh well and very rude. Might have to check out the new wing place in town.
My brother and I love wings and like to try new places and flavors. Heard about wildcard shack. I have to say the wings were worth the wait. A bit of a wait but they were making them Fresh and wing night. Most, hot, cooked to perfection. The new flavors were tremendous. The cabin smoked was so delish!!!!! New fav. for sure. Atmosphere ok and music not my style but that’s ok. Bit loud hard to talk. Waitress bang on. Good tip. Well done chefs, I will be back. Check it out, worth inviting a friend.
