We came for a Saturday lunch between errands and we'd been wanting to give the Toad and Turtle a try. Started out with our first server not knowing the specials BUT with everything going on post vid I really give everyone a pass as they try to get back into things - both our servers did thier best but we were forgotten once or twice. Service wasn't what will keep us away unfortunately it was the food. My beef dip was chewy and not warm and my wife's fish and chips were overcooked with the batter really tough on the ends. The tastiest thing we ate was tater tots they were super addicting. We decided not to send anything back as we were already over an hour in the restaurant and and needed to move on with our day. Overall this is probably a great spot for wing night, but we won't be back for lunch again.
Awesome place and a new staple for my hubby and I since moving to the area. Wednesday wing nights are a great deal! Service is always amazing! Kat has been our usual server the past few times and is so friendly, sweet and totally on the ball. Awesome, tasty pub food. I've yet to try a menu item I didn't like.
Always loved this place then we had a really bad experience with service. We reached out and they wanted to make it right again so we came back. We had a very nice date night. Cozy atmosphere as always and great service. The food was really delicious as always. I had the fish and chips and my husband had a burger. Were really loved the gravy It was so addicting. Thank you for inviting us back to make it right you really did make it right! The staff was lovely and I have always enjoyed your food! We will be back. Thank you so much!
We wanted to try this place so took our family out with the baby. Instead of giving us a booth or bigger table we were sat in the side table with no where to sit the baby. The food was really good but the service was very poor. The sever didn’t know what the specials or soup of the day was. Then spilled drinks on us twice. The food didn’t come all together for us. Didn’t offer refills on the drinks or offered desert. We were told it was still happy hour but were charged full price for everything. Other than food being great experience was very poor.
Had such an amazing evening last night at the Airdrie location. Our server was excellent, the food was amazing and it was fun watching the game on all the TVs. Really enjoyed my burger and the pig wings were so good !! The server made a wonderful recommendation for my beer which matched my meal perfectly. Great date night and wonderful experience !!
Stopped in for dinner after an appointment. Had beer and the daily special pork wings aka ribs. They were so good. The atmosphere is great along with the service. I accidentally knocked over a full glass of water and felt like an idiot, but our server was so sweet and didn't make a fuss.
Everything was awesome. Friendly staff, good service, food was great. I'm only giving 4 stars because they ran out of fish for fish and chips and my wife wanted fish and chips..looks like we gotta go back
Awful service! Cold food! Appetizers arrived after meal, even though ordered them 30 minutes prior to meal! Never again! Waitress just useless! Two guys brought our food! She never even came back to see if we needed another drink!!! Would give zero star if was possible!
Really terrific staff, lovely patios, great menu selection. You can even bring your dog : an overall great experience
Place has gone downhill fast. Service is terrible. Ordered a shepherds pie, was half the size it normally is, came out cold, they offered to put it in the microwave. I said I was fine with not eating it. they wouldn't take it off the bill and just discounted the Shepard's pie by 50%. Pretty disappointing. It used to be a good place to go.
