We had an unforgettable time here, likely one of the best dining experiences we've ever had!nnThe food was outstanding from start to finish. We began with fresh bread served with olive oil and vinegar, followed by perfectly cooked calamari as an appetizer. Each of us chose a different pasta, and every dish was exceptional. The pasta was freshly made in-house, paired with rich, flavorful sauces and toppings—it was, without a doubt, the best pasta we've ever tasted! The quality of the ingredients was top-tier, and the portions were so generous that we didn’t even have room for dessert.nnThe staff truly made the experience special. Our waiter Zachary was friendly, attentive, and offered excellent recommendations. He even gave me some extra bread to take home, which was very kind and much appreciated. Despite the restaurant being full, Zachary managed everything with ease—service was flawless.nnAll in all, I highly recommend coming here. With its inviting atmosphere, exceptional service, and delicious food, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss!
Wienstein & Gavino’s in Montreal is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the warm and professional staff make you feel right at home. The restaurant’s inviting atmosphere and prime location set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The food is nothing short of spectacular—fresh, flavorful, and authentically Italian. Whether it’s the perfectly crafted pasta, wood-fired pizzas, or indulgent desserts, every bite feels like a taste of Italy. If you’re in Montreal, this is the spot to savor incredible food with exceptional service.nAllie was absolutely amazing server and professional new the menu and made great suggestions.
First, if you go to this popular place, ask to be seated in Ally's section. Her service was impeccable, jovial and warm through out my many demands.nThe food was absolutely top notch. From the aldente pasta with mint, to the perfectly cooked steak with a hint of blue cheese. Even dessert had tarragon for an unsuspected twist.
My family and I like to choose a restaurant to have a group dinner to close out vacations on a positive note.nnSince my friend was with us they had us choose one, and we liked the menu of this restaurant in particular, making a reservation for 4 on the Friday before our flight day. It was the best decision.nnEverything from the drinks, to the food, to the desserts, was absolutely delicious. Hot, fresh, and incredibly well portioned. Allergens were taken into consideration if needed, and we all absolutely cleared our plates. Deserts were completely to die for, every single one of them.nnWe would and will 100% come back again.
Our recent visit to Wienstein & Gavino’s was, unfortunately, one of the most underwhelming dining experiences we’ve had in quite some time. From start to finish, it felt as though the restaurant had little regard for its guests.nnThe evening began on a sour note when we were seated at a table awkwardly positioned next to a random appliance. It was an eyesore, to say the least, and left us feeling like afterthoughts rather than valued diners.nnThe service, however, was the real low point of the night. Despite being seated promptly, we waited an excruciating 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. When our server finally arrived, they were not only inattentive but outright rude. Throughout the meal, we were never checked on—not once. It was as though the staff was determined to set a record for how little interaction they could have with us.nnBy the time we left, it was clear that service at Wienstein & Gavino’s is among the worst we’ve ever experienced. A restaurant is more than just its food; it’s about hospitality and care, neither of which we found here. We won’t be returning, and I can’t, in good conscience, recommend this place to anyone.
