Tasty gnocchi served pretty fast as well. Waited in line for a bit since it was pretty popular. Though the line was long it shortened pretty fast due to the efficiency of serving. Since they really only served one thing, they can quickly put them out.nThe gnocchi came out hot and fresh. The texture of the pasta was really good. It had a nice springy squish to it, which almost melted in your mouth. The sauce also had a good flavour, in which it tasted a bit nostalgic.nnOverall pretty nice thing to try if you are in the area.
This is an unreal experience. Where in the world can you find a window that just sells gnocchi? Well you can find it here, and the sauce and a gnocchi is so good..nnThe sauce is homemade, and it tastes like it is in a pot for hours if not days. There's no sweetness, no sugar, all you can taste is reduced tomatoes, caramelized onions, and the herbs. The sauce has a bold body and is very herbaceous.nn$5 gets you a sizable container that wall keep you satisfied for hours.
This place was quite busy when we arrived. We tried the gnocchi with tomato sauce from the takeout window and it was delicious. The gnocchi were soft and pillowy, and the sauce was so good we ended up buying a jar to take home. Simple, comforting, and full of flavour. We will definitely be going back.
Nice little street shop, with pleasing decoration and vibrant staff. Great price with quantity too. 5$ for a box of gnocchi, 6$ with cheese and 6.5$ for cheese and spicy.nFlavor wise, the tomato sauce was too sour for me, as all i tasted is its sourness and nothing else really. But overall I would recommend people to try.nPayment method: Cash or Canadian debit card
A delicious little treat for just $5-6.50! I highly recommend adding cheese and chili flakes, it’s seriously good. Just a heads-up: they only accept Canadian debit or cash. Last time I went, I skipped lunch because it was so filling for the price. Great value! The line moves quick too.
