This was our first time here and to say we were impressed. I had the yorkshire pudding filled with mash potatoes and beef, lots of beef. The real veggies were a nice treat. Now I couldn't eat it all. My husband had the burger with cheese and bacon. It was a good sized burger. The fries were good but came in second to the burger. Lots of food well worth the money. I didn't get our waitress's name, however she was very pleasant and professional. Will be back next time I'm passing through.
Where the burgers actually looks like the advertised picture Sept. 8 Came for lunch with my teen, I had the burger which was mouth-watering good and fish & chips is probably the best we've had in Ontario. Hardly saw waitress probably due to covid times but when we did she was super nice.. If you're wanting the taste of home burgers or fish & chips this is definitely the place Sept.16 Couldn't stop raving and thinking about my last buirger here I had to come back and brought a friend to confirm my tastes buds were correct.. and it did not disappoint. This time I had the Bacon & onion Burger which had 2 large deepfried onion rings in it I could barely wrap my mouth around it to take a bite and when I bit down, ohhh those juices that oozed from all the flavours ... ahhhhh! Sooo good! And I had house salad instead of fries this time and pleasantly surprised by the size I was even able and wanted to share so my friend can see how amazing it tasted. Definitely going to be a regular here for burgers and of course will try other things too

Wickie's on the day that I was there was really nice, the sun was shining, the service was hopping, the soccer fans were having a great time on the patio, but most of all, my hand beer battered fish & chips were absolutely delicious , house made tarter sauce, juicy lemon, & an ice cold draft beer! What more could a person ask for in a restaurant. As in most places right now, they have a limited menu, but don't let that kid you! There is still lots to choose from! The table next to us had what looked to be an amazing burger . Lots of patio space incase you want to come with you team to celebrate your win, or commiserate in your loss. Guaranteed the food will be great and the draft will be flowing.
Service was slow like 45 mins from ordering till we got our food, only gave us one menu between the 2 of us, waited for waitress to ask if we needed a drink refill for about 10-15 mins, food was okay, the Philly steak sandwich definitely didn’t have tenderloin on it like the menu said, more like strip loin, And the cheese on the grilled cheese for the burger wasn’t melted. Kinda greasy crowd on a Sunday night aswell.
I had no idea this place was so great! I drive by every day but had never stopped until yesterday; I thought it was "just a bar," but this is a great restaurant with better-than-expected food. I had a Cheesy Spinach & Artichoke Burger with a side salad. The burger was so good that I think it will take a few days to stop daydreaming about it. The salad was pretty good; nice that it had a bruschetta topping. The greens were awkward, but it tasted good. But the burger... that has me coming back, and I'm bringing my wife with me next time since the menu has a veggie burger too she's a vegetarian. There are a few other things on the menu I'll definitely want to try, including their Fish 'n Chips. Worth the visit! Prices around $20-24 per plate Dec, 2022.
Wow! This restaurant has brought a much needed breath of fresh air to the food. The food is awesome. The service and location match the food in awesomeness! I loved my dinner there and can’t wait to go back.
Modern, clean restaurant. I was very impressed with the perfectly cooked. Serving sizes of our meals were very generous. Good variety on the menu. Friendly staff and speedy, attentive service. Will be back to try more..
Always great food, drinks and service! Every single time we are warmly greeted and told to sit where we are comfortable, waited on right away for drinks and always served hot and fresh food. All the servers are friendly and amazing as well. All round a great experience each time we visit.
Though the service is amazing, exactly how do you expect anyone to come here and eat aswell. Your prices for even the smallest appetizers, eg. Deep fried pickles are no less than $16. Even your soup of the day is $9, that's outrageous. I am not to sure if I would encourage any of my friends to come here. Hopefully it can be fixed, as the service would be something I would rave about, for sure!!! Great job servers!!!
