Donaleigh's Irish Public House has amazing friendly staff. The food was good! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great pub experience. Buffalo cauliflower and spinach dip was great!! Haddock and chips were good not the best. The wait time after we ordered the food was too long - the reason for 3 stars.
Great place to visit. Patio is awesome, inside is 3 times bigger than British pub across the street. Everyone is attentive and friendly. Tacos were really good, so was the poutine. The kid likes the pasta in red sauce but looked super plain to me but that’s how kids like it. Place is very clean. Looking forward to going back for dinner. All I can say is, if you’re going, get the nachos! Donaleigh’s is notorious for their loaded nachos & they certainly lived up to their name. I would also recommend the cauliflower bites because they were also amazing great place for a beer & a patio hang.
We love Donaleigh's they never disappoint. The staff are amazing, the food is incredible and they always have great live music. A must try and I recommend the steak and brie Sandwich.
This place is full of life and really pretty servers. The food is amazing in comparison to Irish pubs in Toronto. The salmon is on the sweet side. The draft beers were crisp, cold and refreshing. You must come for a pint if you're in Barrie. Can't believe the quality of food too, it's really outstanding. The chips for the artichoke dip was not Lays by the way.
One of the best Mac & cheese I had in Barrie. Loved each and every food item. And the vibe is good. Worth the cost. Have visited few times already and will definitely go again.
Had a great lunch with great service at Donaleigh’s. Even with the patio and restaurant busy our service was great, and the food came quickly. The food was better then it looks, and very large portions. We had some live music as well due to Open Air Dunlop going on so it added to the experience. We will definitely be back to try some of the dinner menu.
Ordered the Fish and Chips for take out. It was awesome! The fish was fresh and flaky, coating was fresh battered and golden. Taste was delicious! I had it on the weekend, and have been craving it ever since! They don’t give a ton of fries, but it ends up being the perfect amount. Also the fries are so yummy. I was really impressed and I will be grabbing this for takeout again! Loved the take out containers as well. Staff very kind and professional.
First time at Donaleigh's in Barrie last Friday. Staff very friendly and professional. Place was packed, had the Fish & Chips, very good, served hot and fresh. The Place ROCKS for Live Music, a Band called "Bottom's Up" played, they were awesome, we danced all night. Real good selection of on Tap Beer as well and mixed crowd of 20's to 50's all having a good time. We will be back.
Simply the best pub around. Have never been to another place with as good of food as here. Spinach dip is amazing, get it every time we come in. The homemade potato chips they make are simply to die for. Shepard's pie and fish and chips are also amazing.Food: 5/5
