This place is great!! I highly recommend going into the shop high quality food, supplements and supplies and seeing what they have to offer for your pet. The staff are amazing and always happy to answer your questions. I booked a consultation with Christine to talk about my senior dog's kidney disease and it was an absolute pleasure to speak to her. She was kind, empathetic and so knowledgeable and informative about what steps to take for my dog. I was able to ask all my questions and concerns and she took the time to address them all. If you get a chance, also their Scent Den is a great place for your dog to get their sniffs in and enrichment on! My dog had an absolute blast and we'll definitely be back.
The store is staffed with some of the most caring, friendly, wholesome people I have ever met. I treat you And your dog like family. They also stock some of the best quality dog food and pets products in the city. I highly recommend checking them out!
Christine and the Wholesome Canine team are so knowledgeable and wonderful! Really kind, smart staff who know a lot about dog health and nutrition. Wouldn’t buy my pup’s food anywhere else.
Lousy place, most miserable service! Small shop yes, and it will never get bigger. Making prospective customers wait for 1/2 an hour without the slightest acknowledgement, while chatting the entire time, at the cash, with an elderly lady is just poor business practice. After checking your web site, we made a long trip to get to this shop, but there is nothing to see, the web site is much misleading. BEST ADVICE: Avoid and safe your time. I had Christine advising and revising my dog’s health challenges and unfortunately she proved herself as being extremely unprofessional. She ignored my emails and literally not care for the overall health situation of my dog. Last email I have sent out more than two weeks ago still did not got any response. I hoped she would genuinely care about my pups condition. So disappointed trusting and paying Wholesome Canine Toronto. It is heartbreaking to put all your faith in a wholistic approach and hoping to find a decent person who would really be involved but in the end do nothing to help your furry best friend.
Our 4.5 month GSD has been very fussy with his raw diet so we set up a nutritionist call with Christine. Over the course of the 30 minute call, Christine provided us with invaluable advice and guidance not only on nutrition and diet from brand type to portion size but also on exercise and lifestyle, all specific to our pup's age and breed. We filled out an intake form the day prior to the call and Christine was very thorough reviewing the information we provided and answering all of our questions. Should we ever have questions in future, we know where to go! We cannot recommend this service enough for those who are overwhelmed by all the information out there on canine nutrition and are in need of guidance. Christine suggested one type of food as an alternative for lunch since he's been so picky and we've never seen him eat anything faster! He was in love and we are so grateful to see him interested in his food.
Best pet store in the city. The owners and staff legitimately care about your pets’ emotional and physical well being, and it shows!
This place is like being a kid in a candy shop for dogs and their pawrents. The best experience I’ve ever had in a pet store. Ruth was incredibly knowledgeable about every single product, just a joy to be around. She was wonderfully accommodating to my dogs needs and just so welcoming and kind. I cannot recommend this store enough. The prices are very fair and the quality of their products is top notch. It’s like an affordable health food store for our furry friends. This is where we will be going for all of our pet supplies. Can’t wait to try the scent den as well and to meet the rest of the lovely team.
My favorite store for my pups! This is the only place where I get their raw food, supplements and treats. The staff is amazing, always so helpful and knowledgeable- big shoutout to Ruth and Steph for introducing me to the beef and buffalo bones. Their products are local, fresh and I absolutely trust them going into my pups tums.
This place is a gem. I know for a fact that the owner really authentically cares for the wellness of your doggies. Love this place.
