Whole Earth Harvest

So far I have been very pleased with my purchase of the shiitake grow kit. The price was very affordable, and shipping was free. I got my order very quickly. I live just down the road so it only took two days to receive the package. Box comes with clear instructions and quality supplies. No paper thin, tear-prone plastic. Setup took five minutes. Have not gotten harvest yet, but I see the indications that it will. If harvest goes well, I will order another colonized block. Will update once I have received a harvest.

I always avoided shiitake because of the price. No more. I always chuckled when people called mushrooms a "meat replacement", I thought; "what a joke" until I tried some of these. These shitakes can be cooked to any consistency/texture that you like. If done correctly, I can actually replace meat and not even know it. I've tried some of the Mitake also and they are also very good.
