Saw the reviews of this place, and drove up from St Clair Shores to give it a try... Definitely didn't disappoint! The staff was really friendly and the food was amazing. Limited seating inside, like most diners, but many available seating outside. I'll def stop back in when I do come through the area
A big shout out to the White House Restaurant in Clare. My husband and l and two granddaughters were treated to the BEST cheeseburgers and fries, he had steak and eggs. I have to say, they were the best burgers l have had in like ages.
Great food from a historic place. Whenever we go up north a stop at the Whitehouse either on the way up or on the way home, is planned for our trip.
Best omelets you can get. Hash browns are crispy and good. Try the hawaiian with the swiss cheese and pineapple. you won't believe how good that combo is!
Amazing food! staff and atmosphere excellent as well. Super tiny in space absolutely huge on flavor and portion. Probably the best gravy I have ever had. Highly recommend this place, we stopped through during a weekend road trip. Will find out way back through at some point.
