Absolutely yummy fish fry on Friday nights!! It's not an "all-you-can-eat," but they give you four huge pieces of fish, along with either fries or a big baked potato, and coleslaw. The combo plate of lake perch and whitefish is awesome. You won't leave hungry. They have a Friday menu, and they have a rest-of-the-week menu. On Fridays, they focus on fish and seafood and generous fried appetizers. I have posted the menus. Generous pours from the bartender, too. There is also some outside seating, mostly picnic tables, with a great view of Saginaw Bay. This is kind of off the beaten path, but it's worth the trip. It is a local "dive bar" that has been in business for decades and decades. Casual decor, casual dress.
I found my Favorite Burger. The Joe Burger!! It's the Best Tasting Ever! The mushrooms and fries were Delicious also. Well worth the trip here. Stopped in around 4 on a Thursday so I was the only one here. Really friendly employees.Food: 5/5
My husband and I decided to go there and check it out we had never been there.... There was only one customer in there that night and Cass was the bartender he was a very nice guy. He was also the cook and our dinners were excellent. I had a mushroom and Swiss Burger with sweet potato fries and my husband had the Joe Burger with regular fries.
We did the Friday night fish fry runs 3-8pm. Food was good. We got there around 4:30pm and it wasn't very busy. They do focus on on the fish aspect of the menu so if you want a burger you'll have to go another time. They have a small outdoor seating area in the sun that's nice. It's right on the bay so you can look out over the water. Overall, nice little tavern.

So happy we found this place. Hidden treasure. If you are near the Landings casino take the time to stop by. ICE COLD beer. Great food and such nice people. Will be our new place to go.
Great hidden find! We went to Soaring Eagle Landings casino and seen a Whites Beach Tavern sign and went for lunch. Great food, cheap prices and really friendly people.
No longer serve walleye, the other fish they do serve can be had at any restaurant on a Friday. Friendly staff good service but unfortunately I'll not be coming back. Some traditions die out I suppose.
We left 15 minutes after receiving our menus, because no one came back to take our order. I don’t think the staff was trained at all. The music was really loud, and it was only 6pm. There were no other customers.
