The only complaint I have was that I ate too much lol. I loved my breakfast portion and flavor. Waitress didn't keep nagging us and she was very friendly. Food was big portion and price was right on. The only thing I wish was that the little jukebox worked but I still loved the place.Food: 5/5
Food was very tasty and made right, good prices with good proportions. Bakery Goods looked delicious but was too full to try. Really good food, the hashbrowns were perfect! Breakfast is served all day which I love. We didn’t have to wait very long for our food. Our waitress was very friendly : donuts were amazing as well
Went for breakfast- food was good. However, the wait staff was lacking. It took three times of the waitress coming to the table to ask for coffee. I had to ask on two different occasions to get refills. I had to flag them down, as she never checked on our table after food was dropped off. And they were not busy- many empty tables
This is a neat old place. And when I say old, I mean that this place has been around for a long time. It's got that old welcoming local feel to it, even though I assume that they get a lot of tourists going down 23. Their food wasn't bad at all. I ordered the chicken quasidilla, which was pretty good. They also have a salad bar, which I did not partake in, but it seemed to have a draw. They also serve donuts, which looked pretty good. Going back to that nostalgic vibe, each booth has an old jukebox from way back in the day. It reminds me the old root beer stand days from the 50's or something. Overall, this place is worth checking out if ever passing by.
Only complaint was the hashbrowns. But it very well could've been us. Delicious eggs, cooked perfectly! Clean well maintained dining area. Friendly staff! Will continue to return :
Ordered takeout. A hot turkey sandwich with an extra side of mashed potatoes and gravy. $21.75. Will never eat there again!!!
Don't know how they got an average of 4.2 for reviews. They sat us at a table that obviously wasn't bussed very well. Empty used jelly packets still on the table. Patty melt was good but burger was small. They wouldn't let me substitute mashed potatoes for fries unless I paid three something. Which I did. Then they have a juke box machine at the table that we put 75 cents in and no music and no change back. If it doesn't work or if it's for decoration you should have a sign up. Don't rip people out of their money. Service was mediocre. I won't eat here again, but hey somebody else my have better luck. 2 Stars. That is all.
Went in this morning for breakfast! I don't know who was cooking but it was the best breakfast I have had there. And the waitress who served us was extremely friendly! Thanks Wheelers! It made my birthday breakfast the best yet!
Service was very good. Restaurant seemed clean and really like that they’ve maintained the ambiance or years past. I ordered the pork chops which were somewhat undercooked and tasteless. I might try them again though.
