Stopped by this charming little café before catching our ferry back to Vancouver.nnIt’s located right beside the railway tracks — possibly a converted old station? Either way, it has a unique and inviting vibe. The space is beautifully set up, and the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming.nnWe ordered a matcha latte and their seasonal iced banana latte. Both drinks were decent — not mind-blowing, but enjoyable. The only surprise was the total: $18 with tip. I’m still not sure if I hit the wrong button or just over-tipped, but it felt a bit steep for two standard drinks.nnThat said, the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff really make this café worth a visit. It’s a lovely spot to relax, especially if you’re passing through the area. I’d still recommend it.
This cafe was so good I went back 3 times in my short trip to Nanaimo!!nGreat coffee cappuccino- smooth, strong and pretty. I’m always fussy on my coffee so I love being able to give good reviews!nHot chocolate - perfect afternoon treat. Not too sweet which is always a plus for me.nNanaimo slice - amazing. Good quality dark chocolate which made this particularly nice. I had this 2 days in a row because it was VERY worth it after a day of biking!nNot pictured: iced banana latte. It was good but I would get a hot drink instead next time. Perfect for a hot day.nnWhite Rabbit had great coffee, cookies/slices, outdoor seating in the sun, wifi and was well set up for some remote work good charging points.
Stopped into White Rabbit this morning to grab a cookie, muffin and coffee. I am pretty regular there as I have a few allergies and they have ample gluten free and vegan options which I need. The muffin today was strawberry lemon and it was to die for. I also love their apple cinnamon but honestly I haven't tried one that isn't great. My two friends came with me and we all grabbed the should be famous choco chunk cookie. The staff is always so friendly and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. This place is 100% a hidden gem and a must visit.
Great energy and holy shit the BEST Nanaimo bars I have ever had and they're vegan and gf. The peacan bar was perfection, and I'm really sad that I did not buy like five more, but I definitely will be back next time I'm in town.

Crispy outside and soft but chewy inside. The flaky salt on top is a nice touch.nCoffee was smooth. I wouldn’t say it’s the best but it’s average good.nLondon fog was surprisingly good but I don’t usually have a huge expectation for it.nnService: 3/5nIt was busy so I think the barista was a little frantic but nothing too bad.nnPrice: 5/5nAverage coffee price. Logo is really cute! ThenAtmosphere is really nice.nnOverall: 4/5
