Hey everyone post Covid got to relax a little bit about these destination vacation and service. They have an amazing happy hour from 5 to 6 with a $10 unbelievably gourmet burger and fries get a glass of high-end wine or beer but don’t be steered away because of the service reviews, everyone is doing the best they can as is all of the destination resorts without any staff yes there’s no staff… anywhere. Look at the want ads and look at the signs on every door at every place of business around here. The staff that was there was attentive as they could be for the number of tables and the food was simply amazing. Instead of being in a rush order a bottle of wine and enjoy their $10 burger.
Walked inside at 645 and asked if they had table for 5. They said no and we're quite stern about it. My party went on OpenTable to look for a different place and we ended up seeing that White Buffalo quite literally had a table available in 5 minutes. We were able to sit down and have a decent meal. We ended up tipping the server $80 cash and I'd like for her to know that she would have missed out on it if the host got his way. I really hope management decides they need better people to represent them because this was completely unacceptable and uncalled for. I'd give it three stars and simply tell the manager to fire the host and how to be polite however I was quite disappointed with the $69 boneless ribeye. They have better steaks at Texas Roadhouse in my honest opinion. The ribeye was dry and small even though it was cooked medium rare. Bottom line, don't go here for steaks. Plenty of other options in town without rude host. Our server was very nice and hopefully she has a stern talking to with the host about how to do his job. Terrible!
We had a reservation for July 3rd and had been so excited about coming back to the Restaurant at White Buffalo Club. We had an amazing dinner experience. Our server was wonderful, the food was exquisite. The bread with the in-house made butter was the perfect start to the dinner, we also got Brussel sprouts and French fries, we were most excited about our steaks. Might be my favorite steak I’ve ever eaten. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.
Our table was given away after less than 15 minutes. The restaurant doesn’t answer the phone to allow guests to say they may be late. But accommodate walk ins immediately apparently. When asked what the grace period was, the host held his hand in my face to silence me to help another guest. Additionally, service was horrible. All other tables around us were checked on. My drink order came out wrong. The server didn’t bring me the correct drink. The bartender did. I didn’t see my server again until food was delivered.
Cant say enough good things about this restaurant, from the awesome staff to the super fast and delicious food it’s definitely worth the stop. We had the bison steak and the fillet with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese and I would have to say it was probably the best food we have had in a long time. The cocktails were good also!
Perfection and wonderful service. Get the 10oz Bavette from Snake River Farms. Best steak ever consumed in my life. Also, received some profound steak-knowledge from the awesome bartender ski-bro from Brooklyn - you are the man!. Cuts of steak with more marbling/fat, go with a medium, or slightly under that, to render the fat into the meat. think of a middle ground between medium and medium-rare. Game-changer and it makes perfect sense. So many places and people just go with an attitude similar to "ANYTHING MORE THAN MEDIUM RARE AND I'LL PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE AND ASK YOU TO LEAVE". I think we can leave that to the "well-done with a side of ketchup"-crew. When you learn a bit more about cows and the difference between cuts of meat you'll find yourself on a tastier, more knowledgeable bovine adventure. The steak was so good that I came back the next night for the same meal and great service. The chef came out and I thanked him for the amazing food. Thank you thank you for a great experience! Can't wait to go back!
These steaks were the best steak I ever had. The Wagu, which was a first for us, is worth the hype. Best steak ever. I just recommend to eat a snack or something before you order the 3oz. Wagu. Best steak ever but obviously very expensive. Glad we tried it. Maybe a once a year deal for me. I had the ribeye which was 2nd best from Wagu, but I got the 16oz. Very flavorful. They put the steaks on a salt block and it kept it cooking if needed. Our waiter Cody was awesome and always checked on us. Made the experience better.
Food was excellent, nice ambiance. Bavetta wagyu was great. Melanie was the host, & very nice. Alan waiter was helpful & friendly. Place is pricey, about $100 per person should be expected.
The restaurant was pleasant, and the wait staff was extremely upbeat and friendly. The service was delayed, nearly an hour, due to order mixup, and food was tasty. I would have enjoyed the meal better, if the food was delivered promptly and young crowd didn't take over bar at closing very loud. The waiter was very apologetic and assisted us with selection dinner options, wine and dessert. And, the cost of our meal was a bit pricey, because everything was alacart.
Overpriced cocktails and food. Waiter was extremely rude, unwelcoming. He didn't take the time to explain the menu, or anything. We were going to leave but there is a ridiculous $25 per person cancelation fee. We were celebrating a 50th. They didn't even acknowledge it with free dessert or anything. Very disappointing. I added the 50th celebration note to my opentable invite. Also tried calling them. They don't take phone calls, goes to voice-mail. $13 for a tiny salad. Cheapest glass of wine is $18. $6 for a tiny side of sauce. Very disappointing all the way.
