We recently had our wedding at Whistle Bear Golf Club in the Rose Room. The venue was very accommodating with all the COVID changes. Our consultant, Leah, was excellent throughout the entire planning process and very patiently answered all of our many questions. The staff went above and beyond to help bring our wedding vision to life and make the day special. Our team on the wedding day was very professional and did a great job. The food was delicious! The venue was absolutely gorgeous! We loved the garden chapel for our ceremony as it was a reliable location regardless of weather. The Rose Room is absolutely stunning and definitely worth seeing in person. Unfortunately it rained and stormed for the entire time we were on site at Whistle Bear and we didn't find there to be many great photo options inside. If the weather is nice, the photo locations outside are spectacular, which the venue allowed us to enjoy on a different date.
As soon as we walked into Whistle Bear to check out their wedding venue we were blown away. He wanted a golf course & I wanted a stunning venue! Whistle Bear is the very best of both worlds. The grounds, gardens, chapel, reception room, water falls, terrace… all perfection! All of our guests could not stop talking about how stunning the venue was. One of the most talked about aspects of our wedding was the food. You can’t beat Pearle weddings and their food. The staff were absolutely amazing! Special shout-out to our coordinator Kayla for being on top of everything, keeping our drinks full & making sure our day went as smooth as possible! Also, our bartender Lucas was exceptional. All of our friends/ family after the wedding were talking about how great he was!! The terrace was amazing for guests to go outside and chat during the dance as well as the perfect space for cocktail hour! We had a June wedding in the Rose Room. The only advice I would give is to keep your wedding small in the rose room. We had around 124 guests and that was plenty. I have no idea how they fit anymore than 130 in there!
As a Peale Weddings and Events recommended vendor we get the opportunity to shoot at their amazing venues on a regular basis and we absolutely shooting at Whistle Bear. The venue is absolutely stunning and the staff are always professional, courteous, friendly and accommodating. Everything is so well organized and it is an absolute pleasure to work with them. As a photographer, we are able to capture some truly beautiful moments for the couple thanks to the wonderful backdrop provided by the venue. We highly recommend Whistle Bear as a venue & the Pearle Weddings & Events team for any special occasion!
This venue is second to none; from the food, to the grounds, and finally to the staff…our wedding day was a dream! We are forever grateful to everyone who participated in giving us and our guests a beautiful experience on the day itself. We have no regrets about choosing Whistle Bear Golf Club and we hope to return for a round on our anniversary; haha
What a great experience. Was invited to play with a friend who's a member and had a great day. Arrived an hour before the round, used the practice facility and then went on to play. Played Blue tees average golfer and it allowed us to use every club in the bag. A few of the part 5 we're still long enough to hit woods. Pretty much every green is protected with bunkers or has some slope to it - usually tried to play the safe shots in. Our day was finished off with a nice meal fish special and a live band playing some cover songs.
I will give it 5-stars not only because it is a nicely managed golf course and clubhouse. Management team must be doing hard and in fact the services is excellent yet friendly. The entire property is well maintained and hygenic from inside and out, from interior to exterior greenery and landscaping. The restaurant and bar service concept is right and every staff is serving with a warm and friendly smile. Meun is just right for a quick and relax refreshment with choices. I got a Budweiser beer in can. That's the best I got as it is really cold enough at a set temperature for serving. This is most important for beer. If they could pre-freeze the beer mugs, it would be extraordinary. Food are fresh and yummy cooked with quality.
Having our wedding at Whistle Bear was a dream come true. In the weeks following, we received countless compliments from our guests about how wonderful the day was, from the quality of the food to the level of service to how smoothly everything ran, and that’s entirely thanks to the Whistle Bear team. Additionally, we had the pleasure of working closely with Lauren Cuthbert on planning our big day following a postponement in 2020, and we can’t say enough good things about her and how accommodating she was, especially as we navigated ever-changing government restrictions. In terms of wedding venues, Whistle Bear truly is the full package, and my wife and I highly recommend it to other couples who are beginning to plan their special day.

Can't say enough wonderful things about Whistlebear. They made our day truly special and unforgettable. They looked after every detail and made sure everything was taken care of. Our ceremony was beautiful, Ian did an excellent job! Lauren planning and Kayla day of were amazing and took such great care of us! We had our dream wedding here and it truly was spectacular from the start of planning up until the big day. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating through ever changing plans due to covid. The food was incredible both at our pre wedding tasting and on the day of... truly our guests raved about it all and they were accommodating for dietary restrictions and special requests. The grounds are gorgeous and we cannot wait to get all of our wedding photos back!! The rooms are all stunning but to fit my enchanted garden theme we decorated the beams in the rose room with flowers and vines and it took my breath away!! The staff the day of were also a dream, everyone was so kind, down to earth and positive - we truly had the greatest day and cannot thank Whistle Bear enough!
