This was a beautiful campground to stay at. We had a nice spot in the back, perks of booking in advance, but there were spaces closer to the highway. The owners were nice and they had a nice pool and facilities. The mini golf was old school and ghetto, but still a lot of fun. They also let the kids spray paint the rocks around the course.
I would certainly stay here again!!

I will start by saying the new owners seemed to be very nice and are really trying to make this 50 year old camp ground come back to life. The pool was nice and clean lots of green space for kids to play. BUT the experience i had was NOT a good one. The camp sites are very close together, to be expected from a small campground. It is NOT really a great place to tent due to the fact of the HIGHWAY running right beside the grounds you stay in, but If you have a trailer it would be great. The power outlets located at each site definitely needs to be rewired with up to date wiring. The other major problem i had was that i booked online for three nights not aware of how bad the highway noise really was. Because of this i had to leave after the first night. The money i paid for the other two night i was hoping that i would be able to get some of my money back but was unable to . So on that note DO NOT book more then one night at a time if your tenting that way your money stays in your pocket. If i could make a suggestion to the owners make the sites bigger by making less of them and really push the RV part of camping and get rid of the tenting part because of the highway running beside your grounds.

Great folks at the check-in. My tent site was originally right in the 38-degree soon, but the fella changed it to a great shady site. I was there for just one night, the pool was a welcome reprieve from the hot summer sin. Kids love it as well.
This is a family camp to be sure and it does get quiet at night.
Just a touch to close to the how's, but my ear plugs helped that..

Good site, but rules for some and not others. We get trouble for "light pollution" with 4 adults whispering at midnight around a tiny propane fire and baby sleeping on my lap. Next night there is music pumping till at least 1am, and I'm woken up at 6AM! With kids screaming and playing in the park. (Very considerate parents too, they woke up the entire campground. )
