A great fun venue with good food, fast service and plenty of fun and games. I booked for a large group of people. I booked over messenger which was great for me. I preordered food forvthe group and it was pretty much all ready at the same time. When it came to paying they had printed off the list I had sent them so that there was no confusion with payments. This was a really fast process and they were really on the ball with it. The only down side was that we were sat right behind a beer pong table and the balls kept flying at our table. Other than that I was extremely happy with the service.
Actually quite enjoyed it here. Randomly decided to pop here for a drink and the atmosphere was buzzed and the lady at the bar was lovely. Not bad prices.
Played table tennis with my son. The value for the table was excellent, drink price was good and the people that served us were really nice. Will definitely come back again.
I had my 21st birthday at Wiff Waff last night and I honestly had the best time! The staff were lovely, epically Gemma and Gemma who were serving my party! It was an amazing atmosphere and they really made my night special! Thank you to everyone at Wiff Waff!
Started off well, with a good space reserved upstairs, staffed seemed friendly. However once we ordered food and a couple of orders were wrong or just didn’t arrive, rather than to be given the food we paid for, we were told the food came out and that’s that. Never experienced that level of rudeness in a restaurant before, we were a big party and ordered lots of food and drink, so to be insulted like that was shocking and unprofessional. The bartender with the beard was very friendly along with the person who served myself- I think Nikki. And the person refusing the bring out the missing food I think was called Millie- bad attitude and not the way to handle that type of situation. Won’t be returning here, big let down for the town.
This review is for Grand Central. Absolutely awful. Been here 3 times and everytime it's got worse. Went there because they had a deal, 2 for £22. Well... they didn't have half of the items on the menu. The poor waiter was severely overworked with only 2 staff on floor on a bank holiday weekend There was a long wait at the bar as only one person mostly making cocktails. To have one course of food it took 1hour and 45 minutes. We had chicken onion and cheese quesadillas and If I could give it zero stars I would. The chicken was dry and overcooked. Barely any cheese too. The side of onion rings tasted as if they had been sat in water for days, they didn't even taste of onion. The salad consisted of literally just leaves. No dressing or anything else. I would tell everyone that asked to steer clear. It has so much potential as a restaurant but is always understaffed and to be honest your chefs need retraining or tons more direction in the kitchen as they definitely can't time manage at all . Last time I visited I had a pasta dish that had almost no sauce and wasn't even cooked thoroughly. How you can mess pasta up I don't know. The only thing that gave it one star were the staff on shift serving that were brilliant for how hard they were working to attend to 5 tables of 6/7 people. Duty manager was informed of the issues and took the price of the food off the bill as we didn't eat it. But would never return.
I won't ever forget tonight based on the awful interaction with the events manager, Jasmine. I had booked a table for a quiz, yet when we arrived staff could not find my table. I showed proof of booking the the first staff member she went to find assistance. Second staff member gave us a table as there was 2 booked under the same name with an amount of people that could fit in one booth. Whilst we were sitting getting ready to order food, Jasmine stormed over "You need to move". The rudeness that came out of her mouth was insane. She barked at us like a teacher on a power trip. Myself and my friend explained that we had booked a table, yet that didn't matter to her because these tables were booked for people who NEEDED them. How did she know we didn't need them. One for a hearing impairment and another for accessibility needs, "a larger woman". Despite my friend attempting to explain her accessibility needs, needing soft support for back and also a hearing impairment she was adamant that we NEEDED to move. The tone and intimidating stance she had sent my friend into a panic attack and I never received a reason or apology for not having my booked table. Jasmine also demanded to see my proof and could only say "well I don't know who that was." Jasmine was interacting with all those people in the booths as though she was friends with them so it had come across as favouring groups of people over other customers. I'm really saddened by this interaction as this set the tone for the evening and overshadowed the other polite and professional staff members that we interacted with. Also, reading previous reviews it seems that this particular staff member struggles with interacting appropriately with customers so I really sincerely hope the owner has another word, and maybe provides extra training on customer service and hidden disabilities. Many people have hidden disabilities and it is not nice at all having them brushed off in public whilst being berated. *on reflection the table we were demanded we moved from was occupied by someone who works there, which may be why it was favoured for them and NEEDED. Forget the everyday customer.
Very very overpriced. New manager is very rude and arrogant. Upstairs gents toilet was out of order for quite a few weeks and when it is open never has soap in the toilets. The whole place is run down and uncared for.
Excellent place for a chill. Pool tables, dart boards, shuffleboard!? The food was very nice to.
Went a few months ago to play poker with friends and the team there were great. Gave us a private area, drinks etc. had a great time! The pink/red hair one with the fake YSL bag was exceptional! Will be back!
