The Whidbey Art Gallery (formerly the Artists' Cooperative Gallery), established in 1992, has showcased over 155 local artists who have collectively owned and operated the gallery. The Whidbey Art Gallery, one of Whidbey Island's oldest and finest galleries, promotes a high quality of life on Whidbey Island and seeks self-sufficiency for its island artists. The artists become members through an interview and jury process. Their displays span the miniature to heroic, the traditional to experimental, the local to global and include fine art paintings, sculpture, metal works, photography, jewelry, ceramics, fiber and fabrics.

Local artists in a cooperative gallery.  This is a juried gallery, so the available art tends toward fine art, not "craft" goods.  The artists regularly change their art, so visit often.  There is also a guest artist wall that usually features unusual new artists.  
Well worth a visit.  Easy to find.

I LOVE art and this 5-room Original Art showcase nestled in the seaside village of Langley, WA is just a downright must visit! They have such a large variety of works. Such treasures inside that door: paintings of local landscapes, seascapes, pets, works in oils, watercolors, pastels, inks, swirling calligraphy, soothing encaustic I could look at for hours, exquisite jewelry in silver and other metals, local island, landmark photography, shining bronzes, detailed wood carvings, playful sculpture, native wrapped rocks, brightly colored metalworks. I could go on and on.  If you are traveling, I highly recommend this Gallery. Take home some beauty from the Northwest, even if it is just a greeting card of their art from their card gallery.  If you live locally, go check it out! You all are really blessed to have this creative community in the heart of Langley. Thanks Whidbey Art Gallery. I'll be back!

The store has so pretty cool pieces very reasonably priced. I bought some cool cards that can be framed as art after they are sent. I am so excited to give these as a gift!

In addition to all of that, I left my crest card at the shop. Pat called my bank who then got in touch with me! I am blown away at the follow up! Thank you!
