Westmount Public Library

Beautiful library with free wifi and many desks well equipped for laptop use. Each desk comes with power plugs, perfect for laptop users. There are also reservable rooms for group study. The library also has many sections and floors, the ground floor being a bit noisy as it's near the children section. There's dedicated library parking in front of the building but it's not free parcometer. Otherwise there's free street parking around also. The library is connected to a beautiful small greenhouse and galleria, free access. It's truly the nicest library in Montreal!nThe library is open to all public, yet the library card is only free for Westmount residents.

This library is absolutely fantastic and truly caters to everyone’s needs. Recently, they have introduced a wonderful studio specifically designed for children, which is a great addition. The library is also conveniently connected to a vibrant greenhouse, creating a lovely environment for kids to explore both literature and nature. The children's section of the library is outstanding; it’s filled with engaging books and interactive activities that spark creativity and a love for reading.nnOne of the features that I’m particularly excited about is the newly launched app. It offers a range of functionalities that enhance the overall library experience, making it easier to search for books, access resources, and stay updated on events. The app works seamlessly, and I couldn’t be happier with how user-friendly and effective it is. Overall, this library truly goes above and beyond to provide a rich and enjoyable experience for its visitors.

It is the most beautiful library I have ever seen, the park next door is the beautiful one and the City Hall has an open art exhibition

Hidden gem in Montreal. Visited from Toronto. This place has everything you need on a snowy cold winter day. Great books, peace, quiet, warmth, mini art gallery, indoor greenhouse and a lovely park. One of my favorite libraries I've visited!

Absolutely beautiful, one of the nicest libraries I’ve ever had the pleasure of studying at. Extremely quiet in certain parts and parking is readily available surrounding it on the streets. The greenhouse is refreshing and the fountain is relaxing. Recommend for sure.
