I went to WTCS for my entire high school journey. Most of the teachers there are the most amazing human beings you will ever meet period, but there are definitely some bad apples.nnSome of the good teachers and staff members I recommend off the top of my head don’t know if they’re still there, I graduated 4 years ago Ms McWaters, Mr G, Mr J, Ms Evens, Ms Khan, Mr. Chamot and many others.nnThe bad ones I recommend two vividly, I won’t mention their names for privacy reasons but one was a short guy who loves to call himself a doctor of English literature, since he had a doctorate in English. He picked on me on a few occasions to embarrass me seeing that my English was bad at the time because I was a newcomer. Anyone who went to WTCS knows exactly who I’m talking about.nnAlso there was an old Greek lady. She wasn’t any better than the previous guy. She would sit at her desk and literally wouldn’t not move for the entire duration of the class. Usually playing cards on her computer or reading a book. Anytime I needed help to understand something, again my English wasn’t the best at the time. I would ask her to please help me and she would tell me to go back to my desk and figure it out, I would ask her can I use my phone to translate and she would always say no. If you don’t want to help and I can’t talk to other people and I can’t use my phone, how exactly am I supposed to understand the lesson?nnBesides that, the maintenance staff at WTCS at top notch human beings, the cream of the crop if you will. I’ve yet to see more encouraging and supportive people. I used to go sit outside a lot and they’d come and sit with me and uplift me.nnOverall my years at WTCS were amazing and would definitely recommend it for anyone.

This is a great school, with very caring teachers and staff members. it has a fantastic robotics and cyber arts program, as well as very strong academic programs.nnthere are a great number of extracurricular activities and sports for all students to join. And there is a wide range of students here so everybody can find something that they enjoy in this school.

I went to this fine school back in 1976 what a great and proud school it was.Sendeckey .Mr Henn .Mr Caldero .I threw it all away @ grade 10. 61 now and doing just fine. Thanks WESTERN TECH .for teaching us to be Human Beings.

The people there are great. But when it comes to teachers, they're either amazing people who care about their students and what they do, or absolutely petty, disrespectful, borderline bullies in their own right who use their power and influence to harass and stress students out either at home or sometimes directly. The split between the teachers seems to be about %70 bad to%30 good. Definately far from the best, especially for the introverted outcast types. Enroll at your own discression.
