Western Metal Roofing - Commercial & Residential Roofing

I recently moved into a 100 year old house outside of Didsbury that had a metal roof that was put on within the last 10 years. Unfortunately it became apparent during a thunderstorm that it was not installed correctly. I made numerous calls to roofing companies in the area with many of them saying they would show up to do a quote but not arriving when they said they would and usually not at all. Western metal actually came out when they said they would, provided me with a realistic quote and conducted the work professionally, completely, and to a level of quality that was at and above expectation. Their crew worked extremely hard to complete the project as quickly as possible but were meticulous and were sure to point out any short coming in the construction of the house that may need to be addressed by other contractors at a later date.

I had already decided on metal after nothing but bad experience with builder asphalt shingles that started to blow off in the first year. Finding a good local contractor was the hard part. People I called locally (Red Deer AB) either wouldn't show up at all, or they would try to talk me out of metal so they could sell me more asphalt every 10 years. Lucky for me a relative is in high end home construction and he said use only Western Metal Roofing. Abe came from Calgary when he said he would and sent an estimate the next day, which they stuck to. The installation team showed up when they said and always kept me informed of what they were doing each day. They were experienced pro's and it shows in the consistent quality of the work and attention to detail. They cleaned the site every day and were always careful with my belongings. The end result is gorgeous. It's great to know I don't have to fear wind storms anymore. I can confidently recommend WMR if you want a quality roof and people that are easy to work with.
