We’ve dined her twice already. The first time we went, I tried their Dandan noodles and cucumber salad. The noodles were fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious. The cucumber salad was very good as well and it was a refreshing addition to the noodles. The second time we went, we had the braised beef noodles. Those were so good! I still dream about it to this day. I didn’t get to take a picture because I was too excited to start eating. We would certainly go back!
Very authentic Chinese Lanzhou beef noodles with great service! The noodles are chewy and the portion of beef is generous. has a reasonable price. Highly recommended, will definitely come again
The place is clean always at first priority and food noodle soup are better than our expectation. Very typical Lanzhou noodle with good portion of noodle and other ingredients in soup. Becoming a regular lunch place after music class with kids.
I am SO happy that an authentic Lanzhou noodle restaurant came to the West Island! This place is incredibly underrated and I really wish more people knew about this place and tried it out. The food was DELICIOUS. I got the Sliced Beef Bone Soup Noodles with thin noodles and wow it was so good. The noodles were fresh, the meat was tender, and the broth was food for my soul. The cucumber appetizer is always my favorite and a fun combo with cold and hot for a meal. The service was amazing too. The server was so kind and accommodating. The restaurant vibes are definitely just “we focus on giving you good food” and is so homey. I love it. I am most definitely coming here as my go-to noodle place, and can’t wait to go even more often with this cold weather.
The tradition Lan Zhou Hand pull noodle is tremendous. The noodle is manually pulled by the chef in front of the open kitchen. Different size options. My choice / favourite is extra small hairy small. With the home made hot spice and vinegar, the soup is pure but yummy. The noodle taste really like the traditional way. I also enjoy the cool dish the green Bean. It brings me the memories from my Shanghai trip as it tastes exactly the same as what it is expected. The boss is very nice and talkative if you want to have a conversation with him. The place is clean and cozy. I will come back and try the Chinese burgers and the dry beef as they were highly recommended by other foodies.
This is a hidden gem here in the West Island! I had the Combo D. This includes braised beef noodles, an egg, and a choice of appetizer - I chose the cucumber salad. The noodles was really good! Very savory and the beef was tender. I really enjoyed it. The cucumber salad complimented the noodles well.
Food was amazing, service was impeccable, a perfect way to end my evening. Thankful to my Fiancée who suggested that we try this establishment on a whim and even more so after finding out that I was able to enjoy the majority of the menu items despite my allergies to peanuts and sesame. Will definitely be visiting many times again in the future.
Our whole family went to eat together. Very tasty! People who don't like noodles in my mother say it's delicious. The soup is delicious. The cold beef is absolutely amazing.
I'll be honest I was first drawn to this restaurant due to the fresh dough being mixed and shaped into noodles seen from their store front window. It did not disappoint. I tried both warm and cold noodles and both were delicious. The peanut noodles were delicate, fresh and tasty: not your typical overly sweetened and drenched in sauced version. I've rarely had noodles this tasty and fresh. Definitely worth a try, I can't wait to try more of their dishes. On a side note, the take out option was well done with the soup sperated from the noodles and everything was well packed.
I have tried all the noodle shops in Montreal. I think the noodles here are the one of the best. Their biangbiang noodles are especially tasty. I like spicy food, their chili oil is not spicy, but very fragrant. The price has increased, but I think it is reasonable, plus the excellent service makes me satisfied, I will go again.
