Wessels Phillip Dr

Comes off as friendly until you don’t want to do what he wants you too. Speaks incredibly rude to patients and will not help you go off medication if that’s what you request to do. Should not be allowed to be a doctor and has been reported. If you want to see a psychiatrist you’re better off going out of Lloydminster. He’s a rank pill pusher.

Dr. P. Wessels is one of the kindest, most genuine, and learned doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is fantastic in every single way. I have done a complete 180 since he took me on as a patient in December 2020. Thank you, Dr. Wessels, for treating me with kindness and dignity. You are a life saver. Truly.

Was turned away because I don't have a family dr but have been seeing another phyciatrist and mental health for years. Sad.

Great doctor, really cares, and wonderful "bedside manner."

I haven't seen Dr. Wessels yet, but from some of the other reviews I've seen I have this to say: diagnosing mental disorders and prescribing medication is what psychiatrists do. They're medical doctors. If you don't want pills/have already been diagnosed with something, then go see a psychologist.
