We went in because we had two separate orders. Was that a bad idea. 7 people working. One lady lady upfront taking orders. It's took 45 minutes to get two burgers togo. Sorry Wendy, your food is good. You need to work on better service. Won't be backFood: 5/5
When I asked staff to open the women's washroom the Manager short blonde hair, denied me access stating that the washroom was not in service due to flooding. The exact same reasoning she had used a week prior to this incident. The Manager threatened to hit me with a broom and I said " Really? You're going to assault me with a weapon?" To which she switched her course of action to an RCMP call instead. Unbelievable, Duncan, what has happened to make people feel like they are justified in behaving like this?
This location has gone down hill. Not wanting to get out of the car in this neighborhood, we choose to go through the drive through. After being asked to wait for a moment and then watching the truck/ customer ahead of us ready to drive away. We said "hello", finally we were asked for our order. We asked for 3 combo meals and had to repeat ourselves multiple times and correct the young lady taking our order multiple times. We parked and had our meal. The fries were not filled up, I don't recall asking for half fries. Then after finishing our meal there was no garbage can to deposit our trash. There used to be a concrete trash can at this location near the front door. If they are worried about the "unhoused" neighbors that roam around the area causing damage or throwing the trash around then they just need to keep it clean/emptied on a regular rotation. Solution have the young lady taking the orders pay attention to the customer and replace the garbage can.
This location has really gone downhill the past 3 to 4 months. I used to be a regular, going through the drive-through within 5 to 10 minutes, getting a great meal with prompt and friendly service. I have tried twice in the past week to give them my patronage, but the last time I spent 30 minutes in the drive-through, 10 of which sitting at the kiosk after being told they would be right with me. I drove away without even placing my order. I had a similar experience earlier in the week where I waited a full 20 minutes in the drive-through before pulling out and going for a bit of a drive so the lineup could thin out, then coming back to another 3-car 15 minute wait and nothing more than a "Hi." from the guy on the mic - and then when I got home with my food, I had been given the wrong order. I understand that the fast food industry is a tough gig, but I'm not even getting the basic level of customer service from this location anymore. Suffice it to say I'll be going to A&W more, where at least I can get through the drive-through in a reasonable time.
Stopped by this location to get some dinner, the person at the drive thru said "It will be a minute." I waited in the rain trying to keep my window cracked to the car so I can hear when they get back on the speaker. Nothing! Waited, and waited, still nothing. After 5 minutes had to start saying in the speaker "Hello, anyone there?" Finally someone took the order. They didn't listen to the order, had to repeat myself multiple times for 3 combo meals, all exactly the same, tried to keep it very basic and easy, but that was still too complicated for the staff member doing the drive-thru. When I got the order, all three combos were shorted on fries. I decided to eat my meal in the parking lot, when I was done I noticed they don't have a garbage can anywhere around. Is Wendy's getting so cheap they can't even put out a garbage can for the customers? Also had to keep the doors locked to my car while eating, all kinds of homeless people wondering around, garbage laying on the ground. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location ever again.
Quality of food is garbage. Bacon Portobello Mushroom Melt. Basically no mushrooms, and if they were portobello, would have to be the smallest, saddest excuse for a portobello I have ever seen.
The employees are always very friendly and courteous despite how overworked they are. Obvious staffing issues make me wonder how well this location is managed? It shouldn't take 40 minutes to get food through your drive thru every day HOURS past the lunch rush. Ridiculous. Best fast food burgers in town besides triple O's, but who has the time to wait? Don't support poor business practise and poorer wages
After a 25 min wait in the drive through the young woman who took my order was as pleasant and sweet as she could be - especially since it was after midnight when they are supposed to close AND they also took the car behind me! The lady at the box didn't let me finish our order before telling us to drive up, and did not respond when I tried to get her attention. So we drive up, with the plan to add it to our order at the window. We get completely ignored for about 5 minutes, despite me waving and signaling that I needed something. She finally opens the window, and looks like I asked her to give me her first born. She begrudgingly does it. We asked for lots of ketchup, salt, and vinegar it was a $30 order for four of us, and we watched as she gave us two of each in the bag window was closed, so I couldn't ask for more. When she opened the window to hand us our food, I didn't have the time to ask for more before she was gone again. I contemplated just waiting in the drive thru for her to notice us, or perhaps knock on the window, but it was busy and extremely slow, I will note, and I don't like being rude or confrontational so I pulled up and parked. There was nobody inside, not a single person to ask. Grabbed what I needed. Meanwhile, my passengers in the car had learned that unfortunately, all of our food was completely stone cold. Oh well. We had the food, and the sauces, and 2 hours left of our drive. We get back on the highway. The cokes were got were all rootbeer yuck!. I try to be very kind to food service workers, especially during the holidays. I was not mean, rude, or anything other than pleasant. But that is extremely subpar service. Will not be returning.
Stopped to get lunch today 20 minuts waiting, still didn't get to order and thier was only 3 cars.missed my lunch break thanks alot. Now it's 4pm and I stopped to get food and still 20 minits to wait and only 3 cars and they can't get the order right. Sorry to say but lunch people don't have 1 hr break we have 30 min. Tell me why I would come back. I dont even think the manager cares.
