Went to drive thur, order a meal and a had reward points to use so I got a large fry on the side. They still tried to charge me $18 for the meal and the extra fry even tho they scanned the QR code. When I brought it up that the large fries should be free, they just remove them and charged me $14 for the meal. I didn’t mention that I am due for an extra large fry for the code, and since I redeem my rewards points, I was not going to let them go to waste. So I finally got the second fry only to set of old fries that are lukewarm at best! It is worth skipping this one is going to the other Wendy’s in college station. This place really has went down and now I see why there is never a line.
We went through the drive thru . They seemed to be adequately staffed but they brought us the wrong order and then attempted to give ours to another customer. I went inside to see why those was so much confusion and except for the young man at the counter it was mass confusion and chaos in the back. Normally things aren't this bad but it was tonight.
I don't like to post negative reviews but conditions at this particular Wendy's were not normal and need to be rectified! My wife and I don't eat at fast food joints often but when we do Wendy's is one where we will eat in the dining room. The issue is the place didn't have a clean table anywhere. Everything, seating, table tops, condiment counter, everything was not clean. It all felt and looked like there was a light coat of cooking oil on it. We were the only ones in the dining rooms, other guests walked out with their orders. The building has multiple tenants and shared toilets. The toilet rooms were filthy. We will return to Wendy's, just not this one.
Ordered two orders of biscuits and gravy. Gravy was watery and thin. One order didn't have any sausage, at all, in it. The other order had very large chunks of sausage. This store's quality standards needs a lot of improvement. I'll probably not eat there again. There are a lot of other restaurants in this area that have better quality presentations .
Food wash good and fresh. One can obviously notice lack of employees which made drive thru time very long. Long enough I pulled out and went inside and ordered to go. Was much faster. So if line is ling, d I yourself a favor and go in And got it to go. As if you choose to leave instead you will miss out on fresh cooked burger and fries. And forgot to mention the staff they do have are very curtious and clean.
My visit was a great one. As everyone knows I’m very picky and I was not disappointed. Staff was nice and most importantly, food was fresh and order was correct. Didn’t have to wait very long either. Money well spent.

My burger was great however my brothers had some sort of chalky chemical tasting substance on the side of his burger. Didn't realize until he had taken a bite and had to pull over cause it tasted so bad.
I wish I could give zero stars. The customer service is horrible! They don't answer the intercom, they say it doesn't work but they are talking in it? They were rude and disrespectful. Why are they there if they are not going to work! 2 separate occasions I just drove off to the Wendy's in College Station because the way they were acting they might spit in my food!!! A horrible experience for me being a visitor in Bryan, Texas.
I understand that there is a shortage of workers and I've been very patient and kind to fast food workers. They are typically doing the best they can. But I went to the Wendy's drive-thru on Wm J. Bryan and Hwy 6, at Rattlers placed my order and she said to pull into a parking spot and they'd bring it out. 15 minutes later, I go inside to ask where my order is. There are three bags waiting for someone to take out the orders. I tell them I've been waiting 15 minutes and she mumbles about it being someone else's fault and that they got slammed there was one person inside and three cars outside waiting, gets my order and slams it on the counter in front of me and walks away. What the heck! That is no way to treat people. I don't recommend going there! I sure won't go back there.
