Missed the 299 exit for a wendys and kept driving to this one with my mom. We needed something quick before heading out to the Casino. The lady that took our order was very sweet! She was also working hard, cleaning tables between customers and taking out the trash. Had no issues, food was very hot and fries were fresh. Don't know why all the bad reviews, I liked it.
Not as clean as we would have liked. Disappointed in peppermint frosty... still too vanilla tasting and needed more peppermint flavor. Will go to another Wendy's and give their peppermint frosty a try.Food: 3/5
This location from the reviews and my current personal experience seems consistent with the need for new management. I paid 12 dollars for just a medium meal and the bourbon bacon sandwich is not built like a 12 dollar meal. Thin single patty. Hardly any bacon or fried onions. The manager is an oblivious older woman who needs some serious training. Counting money from drawer in front of customers in the store. She walked away mid taking our order for something sure could of delegate to another employee. Not worth the money or customer service
Very nasty my chicken sandwich had a thick mucus in it that looked like saliva or snot covered with mayonnaise. I took it back next day along with disgusting fries and manager said she was giving me free food when I asked for a cheese sauce for having to come back. Never again while visiting would I buy food here and suggest no one else too. Manager said she was being sarcastic when she made comment as we'll. She can eat and take all that gross greasy food home to her family.
The Food was Good. The Service was not so good. The woman at the counter was taking our order and the Drive Thru orders. I didn't know who she was talking with, me or someone else. Trash on the floor at different locations in the restaurant. Many tables were dirty. Had to find a table that was cleaner. Ceiling tiles were stained from water damage. The carpet look old,stained dirty. The one booth was ripped. Small amount of trash in Parkin Lot. Lid and straw counter had trash and ketchup on it. Bathroom had trash on the floor. The restroom sink had some sort of black stains in the bottom. Overall the Facility looked like it could use some sprucing up.
I don’t normally complain but this is the second time I’ve had an issue with this Wendy’s. 1st time I ordered a 10 piece and they took it upon themselves to add 2 spicey nuggets to 8 regular instead of asking me if I’d wait for the two regular I don’t like the spicey nuggets, otherwise I wouldn’t be annoyed. This 2nd time I got baconator fries with my order and they put some nasty burnt bacon on them. Simple ‘mistakes’ that are 100% avoidable!!! Next!
Worst place in this area to go to. I had a district manager call me to tell me that decaf is a speciality item after being told previously it is not, and was offered. WHAT?! I think drug tests are needed to their staff, especially if it is considered a speciality item to them. Previous after waiting inside for 15 minutes, I was asked if I ordered through their app to get my food. No, I did not, was not even made aware I had to, nor did the other ten people. We were actually ignored for 15 minutes before asked that question. Had I been asked 13 minutes before, I could have ordered through the app and picked up my order due to the drive through line being insanely long very fairly expected for lunch time at any fast food restaurant. The district manager offered nothing, hung up on me, and I am a business owner that will never go to Wendy’s, or have my staff order from them ever. You just just a lot of business by calling decaf a speciality item and previously not even acknowledging customers in your store and being rude to them about ordering from the app. Your district manager for the Mount Pocono area needs a very intense lesson in customer relations, and also what other fast food restaurants are offering in the area. Personally, I would just fire instead of wasting my time, it was obvious there was no care when it came down to customer satisfaction. You will not get a dime of mine, or my employees. And this sandwich was GROSS too. Do better. You’re good with your cute little comebacks online, but at least Burger King and McDonald’s don’t consider decaf speciality items and serve a mini sandwich to an adult. What a waste of $. Oh, and their district managers don’t do anything but try any reason to hang up on you without resolving anything. They can’t even do their job. What twits. Wendy’s work so hard with the quick come backs and to come at other fast food places to hard, but can’t tell you decaf is a special item. I’m still laughing. Do better. You lost a whole business. Congrats.

I'm a New Yorker who is staying at Great Wolf Lodge and I heard that this Wendy's has great food. True enough, after eating, I felt great. The employees were very friendly and even when handling a large order, they made sure that it is accurate and ready to go. That shows patience and understanding. I would have given this place a full five stars but one factor prevented me from doing so. Before I name that factor, I am not blaming the establishment for any of the mishaps that happened during my visit. Anyway, while I was ordering, the manager came and decided to grow impatient and threw off the employee's concentration which messed up my order a bit. As I looked inside, the employees didn't like that one bit. Long story short, that manager has to learn that patience is a virtue. Otherwise, expect customers to come back and complain. As for me, I'll still come back. All that matters to me is the food that will satisfy my stomach.
Completely screwed up my order from drive thru. Waited forever, only taking two cars, then you wait at the order box. Then order burgers and gets chicken sandwiches. Called to report issue, they never answered the phone. They suck.Food: 1/5
