List of Services
Spring cleanup.
In April, once the ground is sufficiently dry, we will remove any leaves, fallen branches or other debris before manually and/or mechanically raking all turf areas. Removing thatch is one of the most important steps to ensuring a healthy start to your lawn.
Fertilizer.
A season specific granular fertilizer will be applied to all turf areas in April, June, and September to keep your lawn green and healthy throughout the season.
Slit-seeding.
Once temperatures are conducive to germination, a machine known as a slit-seeder will implant premium seed at a ¼ “ depth into the soil, and a starter fertilizer will be applied to promote growth. Far superior to overseeding, this process will thicken any lawn and leave little room for weeds to take root.
Lawncutting.
All turf areas will be mowed, areas inaccessible to a mower will be trimmed with a line trimmer, walks and driveways will be edged, and the resulting clippings will be power swept with a blower. This will be conducted on a weekly basis unless weather conditions slow lawn growth.
Gardening.
If your gardens need edged and weeded, we can take care of it. Edges can be maintained and weeds pulled in conjunction with your mowing schedule.
Hedge/shrub/perennial pruning.
Hedges, shrubs, and perennials will be shaped/pruned to enhance curb appeal and promote healthy growth.
Aerating. Spring or fall, core aeration is a good idea to prevent soil compaction and to give roots much needed access to moisture and nutrients.
Fall cleanup.
Once in October and once in November, leaves will either be transported to the road for city collection or to the local landfill for a fee. Any dead perennial material will also be removed at this time.
Eaves troughs.
Generally in the fall, eaves troughs will be cleaned out on more than one occasion if necessary to allow for proper drainage away from the dwelling. The price will vary according to time and complexity.
Junk to the dump/small moves.
Throughout the year, junk can be transported to the local landfill, or small moves can be made in house or across town.
Landscaping.
Help us build our portfolio. Over the past few years, we have been undertaking more and larger landscaping projects. Whether soft-scape (sod, mulch, plant material, etc.) or hardscape (natural or pre-fab stone and concrete patios, walk ways, driveways, staircases, retaining walls, etc.), we would love to make your property the envy of the neighbourhood. Want something done, but not sure what to do? We have a landscape designer on staff that can help devise a plan.
Decks & fences.
In addition to soft- and hard-scape landscape services, we are looking to add decks and fences to our arsenal. Whether it’s for entertainment, relaxation, privacy, or all of the above, we want your yard to be your personal retreat.
Snow services.
Through the winter months, we offer snow clearing and salting services for both commercial and residential properties. Make sure you book early as we are limited as to how many properties we can adequately service each snowfall.
Christmas lighting.
Don’t like the cold, being on a ladder, or spousal feuds? In the fall, we will be launching our newest endeavour. Let us take care of installing your outdoor Christmas lighting for you. Tell your neighbours, friends, and family as we anticipate this being a very popular service addition.
Anything else?
Just because it isn’t listed doesn’t mean we can’t, don’t, or won’t do it. Please ask…if we really can’t, don’t or won’t do it, we probably know a reputable business that can, does, and will.
