Wells Fargo Bank

I've been a Wells Fargo customer for nearly 16 years. I call in today to get information about my account and the representatives keep sending me back to the automated system. Then I tried calling the local branch where I do most of my banking and they say I have to come in with an ID so that they can verify who I am. While I appreciate the fact that they are looking out for my identity it's very frustrating that they can take my money and do what they want with it without verifying who I am but when it comes to a closed account that I want information on they can't assist me. I physically have to go in and sho them a picture of who I am to get information on a closed account. Perhaps I should take my account to a competitor who will be willing to assist me.

This is a fantastic Wells Fargo branch they do all of my business banking here they treated me absolutely great over the years I've had an account here since 1987!

What'ya expect from a "bank." Go to a credit union. This is just like proprietary tech versus open-architecture tech. Apple vs. IEEE and OSI. Chamberpot vs. Toilet.
