Beautiful and largest waterfall in Hamilton. You need to reserve a spot in advance to enjoy Webster Falls from May to November. Reservations are available for two-hour. On-site parking is limited to those with an online reservation only. Strict fines in place for parking in prohibited areas. So reserve your spot before planning a visit to this fall. But nowadays there is no access to the bottom of fall. There is just one small trail nearby. Walking on cobblestone bridge that crosses Spencer Creek. Not much to do or see here. $30 for 15 mins walk around the fenced falls and bridge is expensive. It was great in the past, but now everything is fenced and separate reservation is required to visit Tew Falls and Dundas Peak. Overall not worth the fees.
Nice little waterfall in Hamilton Ontario. Reservations are required to access the conservation area. This location is not great for strollers but a short walk kids. We were able to see the falls from the top.
The signs there were too confusing to read, can't even tell where you are and which way to go. Nice fall views, but can't even get close to see the fall. The trail is pretty short, can finish in 40min is you walk relatively fast.
Beautiful waterfall, probably the biggest that Hamilton has to offer. You need to reserve a parking spot, so plan accordingly. Has a big park for kids to play, it also has a covered area for picnic.
Beautiful but a challenging hike. Sometimes getting lost leads to beauties like this
I have never seen a more ridiculous service in Canada. Access to waterfalls is limited on all sides, parking reservation is required so that people can visit the waterfalls ... Since when? Why parking spots to Webster's falls are empty and locked? You need to leave the car, paying for parking in a nearby parking lot or it is unclear where, and then walk more than one kilometer to see the waterfall from above, because access to the waterfall itself is fenced. What kind of organization is this? I can't go to the free waterfall for my money. Nonsense. Tourism is being deliberately destroyed in Hamilton. Don't go there, you'll just spoil your mood.
A piece of the heavens. Nice, relaxing and wonderful place. I visited it in the fall in a trip to see the fascinating fall colours in Hamilton. It had amazing views. A must visit place. The main concern is that the visit is limited to 2 hours, which is not enough to go through the whole place.
Magical waterfalls view for the ones with eyes to see the magic. Have a pleasant stroll across the well kept area. Big enough for a 1 hour visit. Make sure to visit other nearby exotic locations too if you have more than an hour to spend.
Apparently the area was closed due to covid for awhile but it is open now and it was very pretty. The paths aren’t maintained in the winter so definitely dress appropriately. The parking lot is also VERY icy so do be mindful. Although the snow is cleared the parking lot wasn’t salted. Parking is 15 dollars which is a little pricey given you can’t go to the bottom of the falls. Parking at Tiffany falls in Hamilton for example costs 11 dollars and you can walk to the base of it. Apparently there used to be stairs to get to the bottom of Webster falls but was removed quite a while ago. I think if there were stairs or access to the bottom the price would be well justified. If it’s for conservation reasons, it looks like people frequently climb to the bottom anyway. For safety reasons I think it’s probably just smarter to build a stair case or map a designated trail that allows people to hike there instead of turning a blind eye to people trespassing. But maybe a trail exists and I have yet to know about it, or people just kinda go as they please along the river. Hopefully some changes are made in the future! I would recommend coming here if you just plan on looking at the waterfall and going on a short non intensive walk :
Don't waste your money. $10 parking fee + $5/person + $10 BOOKING fee?? Paid $40 for a 30-minute stroll. I thought we would at least have a little hike, but it was a literal walk in the park great for accessibility, though.
