1 hours drive from Toronto. Winter time is pretty good here. Parking available 10 minutes walk away from main entrance good for photography and nature photography must be visiting.
The falls are not huge, but it looks beautiful. The trail is not long, maybe 5 minutes or so. Good to go with people who can't walk much, or need less walking. The only issue is the parking. The parking is costly, and plus there are very less spots to park.
Visited this waterfall today for the first time. Parking is a challenge as the parking lot is really small. You need to wait in the line for the parking spots to get freed up. We waited in line for an hour just to get the car parked. Parking fee is flat $11. The fall is only about 400m from the parking lot. The trail to the waterfall is very slippery. Make sure you are wearing proper winter shoes when visiting the fall in winter. Waterfall looked absolutely beautiful and amazing as frozen. We never saw frozen waterfall before . Waterfall area was crowded with visitors as well as climbers. We watched the climbers ice climbing over the frozen waterfall which was so thrilling and unexpected. There were warning signs near the waterfall to stay away as the ice was falling. Reserve one hour for the parking waitline and half an hour for hiking and visiting the fall. Overall highly recommend to see this fall in winter!!!
There is parking nearby but it gets quite busy! There is also parking around the falls but it is quite distant and might need to walk a bit to the falls from there. I have visited the falls during winter as well as summer and must say it is quite good both times around. During winter, you can walk on the stream as it is all frozen and the waterfall is also completely frozen! The falls during the summer is quite good as well and there is also a platform to click pictures with the falls.
It is a small trail with 10 min walk but fall is beautiful. When i went there on a weekend the place was fully packed. They have car parking but can only accommodate 10 to 15 cars in max. Overall it is a good place for a 10 min walk.
Amazing icy water falls. Short trail is very slippery. It's better to wear ice claws and use hiking stick. Parking lot is small. Parking fee is $11.00 for maximum one hour.
What a beautiful waterfall! One of the many we have encountered on hiking the Bruce Trail. There is a pay parking lot and the hike to the falls is very well maintained. You walk in a canyon with the sound of rushing water as background music. The falls are very impressive at 21 meters high. You can walk right under the falls and I am sure in the summer would be a good place to refresh.
Nice hike, beautiful waterfalls and perfect view of fall foliage..
The falls is beautiful. It's not a long trail till falls but we went in winter and it was very slippery but it was worth visiting. The only issue is parking because it has very less spots.
I've never been here before, but to visit for the first time in the winter is a sight to see! The beautiful falls here when frozen, look like they're in suspended animation. Absolutely amazing! I was actually at a loss for words! There were ice climbers there as well, making the visit even more interesting. Parking is limited, so get there early. If you can't park there, you'll be hard pressed to find a spot nearby without a decent hike in. The actual hike into the falls is quite short, only 420 metres. When you get there, there isn't much else to see, but seeing just the falls is absolutely worth it! You won't be disappointed. I can't wait to come back in the summer!
