The attitude of them ladies down there is terrible. I asked an alleged supervisor for simple records in their Lien and judgment book, she caught an attitude and said she don't know what I was talking about!! Earlier that same day I requested the same thing in Oakland County and it was such a pleasant experience. I was out in 15 minutes. They need consultation from Oakland County staff members or something.
The individual that took care of my marriage license was totally rude. She yelled at us, was walking away while barking orders. She truly does NOT AGREE WITH YOUR MISSION . HER NAME IS KELLI.
Incompetence at its finest. They have no issues wasting your time with their lack of knowledge. They will say they can’t answer any questions and if you don’t have deep in-depth understanding of the law, they take full advantage of that as an opportunity not to do their jobs!!!
I spoke with Janae this morning in the CPL department. I had a TON of questions and she was VERY professional and helpful in getting the information I needed. I see so many bad reviews for this place that I felt compelled to share a positive experience that I had. You all should give her something. She could have been rude like others, but was not at all. Kudos to you Janae!
Absolutely the worst place to have to deal with. After waiting 9 months for my appointment I found out the online scheduler allowed me to book an appointment after the building has closed. Once at the building for my scheduled appointment time of 5:30pm all the doors were locked. No one would answer the phone number listed on the website and the security guards at the door did nothing to help. They simply looked at me, then the time and made sure the doors were locked I can say with certainty they were as I wasn't able to open the doors before simply walking away from me. Zero help from anyone if I was able to give no stars to this place I would in a heartbeat.
Worst place to try and receive help ..information... The phone ..they hang up on you after sitting a 1/2 hour on hold. Horrible service. So frustrating
I went in for my cpl, got an appointment pretty easy, they do accept walk ins though, very friendly people there.
I’m Trying to get an appointment to apply for a Marriage License. Also My Fiancé is only off on Saturday and Sunday. I Need to know if He has to come with me to apply for the Marriage License.
Who knew a 15 minute appointment could take an entire afternoon? Don't worry. I had plenty of time to write this in the hours that they were fooling around and making me wait. I have you guys to thank for a parking ticket, too. The 2 hour max just isnt enough for "15 minutes" on their time.
Awful service, awful people. Rude service on the phone, takes forever and very unpleasant. Had the phone service hang up on me out of nowhere, pick up the phone and drop.
