Waves Coffee House

Great little coffee shop. Love the tea lattes. Staff is very knowledgable and offers alternatives for any dietary limitation. Love the atmosphere too.

Cappuccino was well made (expresso quite acidic, like Transcend, but yummy), but the muffin I ordered was so dry it was hard to swallow. Brought it to the counter and you could tell the staff didn't feel empowered to deal with the issue, had to go "check with someone", brought out the same type of muffin, just as dry. Was told they bring them in frozen and thawed them yesterday. Tasted terrible. If you're looking for a cute place to burn an hour before an appointment on the West End, I'd go elsewhere. The chairs are literally falling apart too, black tape on the arms and seat, with huge tears in the cushion.

Great coffee. True coffee. Great service and staff. No other words to describe this place. This coffee shop is probably the top three coffee houses in Edmonton. You have to experience this place at least once in your life because then you'll just keep coming back. The staff members take time and lots of effort to do their job and right. If you didn't have a great experience the first time, try again and you will rethink that. Defiantly go. I especially go there for a nice place to work.

We go here on a weekly basis and really enjoy it. Our orders range from tea to lattes often enjoying a breakfast snack with our beverages. The staff are friendly and make an effort to remember what we order week to week. We like to sit in the "comfy" chairs and sip our drinks in the relaxing environment Waves provides.

Great coffee shop for meetings or coffee dates! It is quiet, spacious, and their coffee is very very good! Definitely recommend a visit.
