Food and atmosphere is real nice

Love the Waumandee Haus. One of the popular things is the Wednesday night all you can eat broasted chicken. It's every other Wednesday. All the fixings. Great drinks. Very friendly.Rooms: 5/5

The DJ was great when we came and the place is nice the only thing was i was going to order a drink with orange juice and it said best used by may 23rd and the date is July 2md so I passed on that because that is way passed the dateService: 4/5

Great place! Totally recommend it all the way around. I played in a po tournament and felt like home. Incredible food and drinks. Bartenders are a kick and I go there as often as I'm in the area.

The bartender was especially nice, real professional. The food was awesome, I like the history of the building. The people from waumandee and surrounding areas were fantastic. I'll definitely be back very soon!!

I love to support small locally owned businesses and this is one I especially love. With a history dating back to 1855, the building housed a lodge and bar for wagons stopping overnight or traveling between Eau Claire and Winona. For more than 25 years Dan Schmidtknecht has owned and run the Waumandee Haus but recently sold it to his daughter who nows runs it. Known for steak night, we try to come here to enjoy one of their juicy steaks when traveling through. Don’t forget to ask for a Milwaukee Old Fashioned, made with brandy, yum, I like mine sour.

The cabins are amazing and very reasonable. Whether you're riding a motorcycle a snowmobile, you're a hunter or fisherman you won't find a better place to stay. There are RV hookups and a ball field perfect for a family reunion. The food is amazing and you got to have a Cow Pie Pizza As Good As It Gets. During my stay I also had the Prime rib which was done perfectly medium-rare with Dan's own secret rub. The weekend breakfast you might want to order a half portion.

Spent Labor Day weekend there what a awesome place the cabins were clean and great the food was awesome and the staff was the best they bent over backwards for us. We will definitely be back.
