The Washington county crisis line responded to a call because someone was afraid I with suicidal. the Washington county crisis team showed up with three police cars with their lights flashing to make a public spectacle of my mental health crisis. Then the crisis team or the officers violated severe HIPAA laws in sharing information about my mental health situation to people that were standing around looking on. I have never been more embarrassed in my life. I can tell you the next time I feel suicidal I'm just going to kill myself before I go through that treatment again. To make matters worse they tell me they can't even tell me who responded to the call to hold people accountable. Literally 5 minutes after the first time I posted this they showed up saying I was suicidal because I called the crisis line to make a complaint. Once again officers decided to share my mental health information and the nature of the call with people standing around.
I called the Washington County Crisis line a couple days ago. One day after a friend of mine had let my therapist know I had intent to commit suicide. I called because I wanted to be heard, to have someone support, me to vent. I was on hold for maybe 10 minutes. I get it. Other people are in Crisis. It's a tough year and a hard season. What deserves a one star is that the person who came on the line. When I said I just needed to talk told me "we can't help you ' how is that ever ok?
When I called 1 day out of the mental health ward at Providence St. Vincent hospital, for a nervous breakdown and trying to commit suicide I called this number for help. I told Amber this. Then I said that I needed to be put in touch with a therapist and a psychiatrist. She said "call your insurance company to find providers." She asked if I needed the number for my insurance company and I said no. I have it, then hung up. I immediately went into a hysterical panic attack. The superviser called me back the next day, and proceeded to defend her and belittled me. These people will NEVER HELP ANYONE!
I been hung up twice. I talked about my political view and she got triggered and almost hung up on me. It just happened now. I had a person tell me, “You’re not in a real crisis.”
Misinformed me about how to access motel voucher and respite now I'm becoming homeless again
A very excellent waste of taxpayer money. Expect nothing, get nothing. They can't help anyone unfortunately. Hope you all lose your jobs :
on hold for over 10 minutes, then hung up on before i even spoke.
Great, even if asking for information and assistance with someone else.
