Wasatch Peaks Credit Union (McKay-Dee)

I need to share my story, I have been a loyal member of Mountain America for at least 5 years. I recently purchased a new car and was shocked at the interest rate I was offered. I did get the loan, because I wanted the car. I had a friend tell me about Wasatch Peaks Credit Union, so I called did everything over the phone and email, was helped by a lovely young lady by the name of Magdalena Rodriguez, please go see her if you are looking for a great rate!!! I walked out with a 3.24% interest loan that was 14% less than my credit union!!! Needless to say they have added a new member!!! THANK YOU WASATCH PEAKS AND MAGDALENA!!!

Really not sure why they bother to open on Saturdays. It was very clear that both tellers in the lobby and the person sitting in the branch managers office didn’t want to be there today. Tried to open a CD account but was told I needed to open a regular account which I understand and had no problem with. The problem was that the teller could only open the cd for me and could not help with opening the other account. There seemed to be no one available to open the account that was needed.

Worst UI for online banking I've come across. Paying your car payment should be simple, not frustrating. Almost feels like they want you miss payments so they can charge fees.

Clean, bright lobby. Fast and friendly service. Lots of parking. Restrooms available. Set up an account in record time. All questions including my dumb ones were professionally answered with a smile.

Well, everything looks great. However, when I sign into my account, all I can see is my car loan but no way to access the actual bill to pay. Maybe because I signed up for automatic withdrawl from my other banking institution? But what if I want to pay more towards principle or interest? I can't seem to find the actual "Bill" to pay a monthly loan amount or set it up to notify me.

I have been a member since 03. Wasatch peaks has gone down hill and I will be switching credit unions.

This credit union is wonderful! They took very good care of me. They responded quickly to every thing! The turn around time on my loan was very quick. There communication was almost instant to any question I had. Pam was truly a pro and I would recommend these people to anyone Dallas

These guys offered the best rate in the state by far for my auto loan. Their website is not very good though. Its tricky to make payments, we had to set up an ACH and it was a bit awkward but we got it to work. If we want to make changes to our payments its not very straightforward though. If you guys could make it so we can pay online from whatever financial institution we want, we would give you 5 stars for sure.

One of the worst transactions experiences I’ve ever had with this teller by the name of Joelene. What happened was that she gave me the debit card of another person who has a similar name as mine and for the whole month I’ve been using that account without knowing it! Now they’ve cleared my account and I’m in the negative almost $800 because of Jolene!

I used to love this credit union. That was before I needed anything beyond deposits and withdrawals. They have been nothing but a pain when I’ve needed to use shared branches. I thought I’d stay with them forever. They have really declined in service. Hey put a 9 day waiting period on a large check recently. Seriously. That check cleared long before they released the funds. The tellers are great but the managers are horrible. I’ll be closing my account the next time I go in.
