Local bar and grill about Five miles south of West Branch on M-30. Decent food for a bar; featuring the Wagon Wheel burger. Prime rib on Friday and Saturday night is 26.99 $4.00 off before 6:00 pm Could not tell you if it was a good deal or not as they ran out of prime rib by 7:00. Not because everybody ordered it, they just didn't order enough to cover the weekend. Place has a dive bar type of feel, but it is where the locals go for a meal. Has full bar, pool table and juke box. Food is good, but cook could not figure out how to put two pieces of cheese on a burger when requested. Did not ask if we wanted refills for sodas until after meal was done. Working on a Friday and Saturday night is one harried bartender /waitress and one grill cook. Disappointed. Did not live up to expectations.
We went on a Friday. Normally, I would have gone for the "fish fry Friday," since perch was on the menu. But, a friend raved about the burgers. So, I ordered a patty melt with onion rings. My son ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Our food was excellent. The onion rings come with a tasty dipping sauce. For dessert, I wanted a chocolate brownie, but they were out. So, I ordered a piece of chocolate cake and asked for ice cream many flavors to choose from and hot fudge. I wasn't disappointed. My son ordered the chocolate cheesecake. That tasted good as well. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, even though the place was busy. There was no loud music. I like to actually be able to hear the person sitting across from me, so that was nice.
Super yummy burger and delicious onion rings....although I wish there were more rings! We gobbled them up! Friendly waitstaff and hometown feel! Owner visited our table personally. Full bar area and clean restaurant! Would recommend!
I ordered the double cheeseburger and it was delicious. Burger was cooked all the way through but not burnt. They only had one waitress but she was really friendly and capable or juggling 4 tables and the bad. Went an hour before they closed and did not feel rushed to finish at all.
Like the new ownership. We quit going before the switch because of previous owner. Very comfortable environment. Food was really good both times. Decent prices. First time had the pollack dinner. Took some home because of quantity. Second time had the pulled pork quesadillas. Also took home a doggy bag. Best I ever had. Friendly service.
Great place to eat and drink. Food prepared fresh so it takes longer but worth it. Try the fresh mushrooms yumm...
Food has always been great, but the waitress was nice, atmosphere was cold. Waitress bartender just looked mean and not welcoming. Will come back for the food. Cooks rock!
Food was very good, I highly recommend the burger and fries. Price point is fair for the amount of food you get. Waitress was nice, but seemed frazzled and messed up a few small things on our order. She was quick to fix it though. My problem was that they charge $2 for a drink, but they use canned pop and don't fill it up or offer refills. Overall, I would eat there again though.
Very clean and crisp looking. Bright lights which are nice compared to gloomy dark places. The food was very good and had excellent service. Nicely spaced seating doesn't make you feel cramped and music was just the right volume so you could still hear the person next to you. Easy location to find with good parking off m-30 and Lehner rd. I was there on a Tuesday night with our Dart league so it wasn't overly busy but I would still recommend giving it a visit. You might just find your new favorite place to go out for an evening.
