3 stars only for the service. No salad bar, which was why we came. Ordered 2 slim Jim combos flier on table said $12.99. I checked the price on the sandwich and fries $9,99; combo, Came with drink, fries, Cole slaw. I asked if I could sub a salad for cole slaw and get cup of soup instead of fries, Yes. Daughter subbed cup of soup for the slaw. She got a root beer float. I understand the float was more than a soda, but our bill was $45.00. For 2 sandwiches. Ridicuous!! I mentioned the 12.99 price but just got a mumbling answer about the apparently $20.00 float. I should have complained more. Beware.
Always nice for a delicious American meal. We enjoyed our meal except my Big Boy burger was overcooked, very well done, somewhat dry. The fish special was good and plenty. Was shocked that they had no salad bar on a holiday weekend. Features: No masks or social distancing
Wouldn't recommend! Service was good food was poor! I've eaten at Big Boys for many years and have to say that the food just isn't the same as it use to be. We ordered 2 fish dinners and a hamburger dinner. The food took 27 minutes to get to us and the fish was horrible. The fries were the best thing about the fish meals. The hamburger was OK but overall not satisfied and will not be going back again. Wouldn't recommend!

Had the lunch special a Big Boy sandwich haven't had one in years . I was worried because I always have the Southern Omelette which is always great but I was glad to switch it up because the Big Boy was great and of course I made it with fries. The meat was hot and cooked very well and I would have it again . Our server was excellent great experience overall!
I truly do not believe it's that hard to stack up a Burger properly. They shouldn't be given out looking like the Leaning Tower of Pisa! The Big Boy Burger also had very little Sauce on it, for it's size. I also had to wait quite awhile to even get Hot Refills on my Coffee! I Always base my Tips on the ability to keep my Coffee filled, and hot. A wait-staff person's ability to Focus on the Customer!
Fun, iconic diner. Good diner food such as burgers and fries. Lots of desert options like homemade pie. Fast service. Good prices.Food: 4/5
It was really slow for them, and the waitress took a while before she came over to me...I don't typically have to ask for silverware, but I did this time. And the eggs were cold Food: 3/5
It almost seems as if the head manager is not there this place becomes a 1-star dinner... but if he is there, then it is 5-stars on every level. When I went the head guy was not there and we got rotten coleslaw, very diluted lemonade, and the rest of the meal was soggy and cold. I just wish the head manager would train some other people to be like him and rise to his standard.
Went there special for the salad bar. Guess what? No salad bar. On a Friday evening for dinner and no salad bar. Will not be back. Food was not bad and service was ok too. They failed taking salad bar out. We were a party of six. Six of us agrre we will not go back there again.
