Wana-Cup Restaurant

Normally a wait here. Pricey but big portions. Order first then sit. I've gotten into the habit of calling ahead to order. Older crowds seems to gather and they seem to not like standing to order then sitting. Small and family owned. Staff is normally friendly but always rushing

Wana-Cup has the best Root beer floats! I generally came for the burgers, fries, and a root beer float. I generally did a lot of construction work during the summers and this would be the cheat day place to eat! It was normally pretty quick and wouldn't take to long for the middle of a work day. I'd consider it the most "fast food" you're going to get when visiting Shipshewana. They have done some upgrades in interior design of the restaurant as well as an update in their menu items. I have always enjoyed eating here because the prices are fair and the meals never dissapoint.

Sad to see the restaurant not busy. Food was cold, mashed potatoes lumpy, only 4 customers during the dinner hours I was there. Used to be a favorite. Can't say I'd go there again.

Shipshewana's original ice cream shop. This place has good sandwiches, fries and pies.

Wana cup is a little hidden gem in Amish country! There are two other large, prominent restaurants in the area, and wana cup fare, although more DINER than DINNER, was just as delicious for half the price! The fried chicken was good, but I really loved the fried pickles! I've had so many bad fried pickles and these were by far the best. Service was a bit slow at times, but overall good.
